Q: Appointfix offers easy way to schedule appointments and reduce client no-shows, how would you describe it?
A: Appointfix is a mobile app that lets independent service providers easily schedule appointments while on the phone with their clients and reduce no-shows by automatically sending them text message reminders. You would be surprised how many people are still using pen and paper to keep track of appointments. We want to provide these people with a smart appointment book that is always at hand, right on their smartphones.

Q: What advantage does Appointfix have over its competitors?
A: To put it in two words, simplicity and speed in setting up and appointment. Unlike other scheduling software that are built to be used mainly on computers, Appointfix was built from the ground up with mobile in mind. Appointfix is integrated on the Call Screen, so while speaking with a client the user swipes on the app’s icon and will quickly be able to see available times. The app autofills the client’s information (name and phone number), all that’s left is to pick a time, choose a service (or leave the default one), and it’s set! Once the appointment is saved, the app takes care of sending text message reminders to the client.

Q: Who is your ideal customer and why?
A: Any independent service provider who schedules appointments over phone, including but not limited to: hair stylists, make up artists, manicurists, estheticians, personal trainers, massage therapists, counselors, and many more.
Q: Tell us something more about your background and the company behind Appointfix?
A: In 2011 we’ve started Mobiversal, a mobile app development company focused solely on developing iPhone, iPad and Android apps. In 4 years since its inception, Mobiversal served over 30 customers from over 7 countries and we were ranked in “Top Mobile App Developer in Europe” by leading research firm Clutch and in “Best Top 30 Game Development Companies” by BestWebDesignAgencies. Located in Romania, Mobiversal was founded by Alin Merches, Flavius Saracut along with Cristian Streng, and for me and Alin it’s our 6th startup we’ve built together. Appointfix is Mobiversal’s first own product.

Q: What are your plans for the future?
A: We have a lot of positive feedback from our users and we’re planning to launch in the coming months a version for iPhone (with a slightly different functionality due to OS restrictions) and a premium plan. We are very excited to improve on what we already have, in order to help many independent service providers around the world save time and increase revenue. We really want to make life easier for the little guy.
