Boxever raised $12 Million in Series B funding led by Polaris Partners earlier this year. The company aims to be the leading provider of customer analytics and data science for travel industry in 2016. Boxever plans to hire 100 new employees over the next period, with a large investment placed on finding top-tier data science and engineering talent. Below is our interview with Dermot O’Connor, Co-Founder & VP Engineering at Boxever:

A: Scaling and innovating will be our key focus areas. We’ll continue to expand internationally and hire across the globe to increase our capacity and reach. We plan to hire 100 new employees over the next period, with a large investment placed on finding top-tier data science and engineering talent.

At the same time, we’re looking for new opportunities and ways we can help travel providers better service their customers. Over the coming year, we’ll be helping another 20+ customers understand, leverage and ultimately activate their data.

Going forward, it’s about enabling our customers to leverage their data more and more. Data science will continue to grow exponentially, and it’s fast becoming a must have, not just a nice to have, for doing business today. The digital footprint of individuals is getting larger every day and companies looking to succeed will look for ways to better leverage all that data. One of Boxever’s core strengths is the speed at which we enable our customers to activate their data. We plan to bring data science workflows together with our predictive and activation strategies, and ultimately be the catalyst for digital transformations within our customer’s’ organizations.
