Q: What is your startup story?
A: The CEO (an online Marketing expert) wanted to get a few of his websites hosted on AWS, and passed the task to one of his top IT guys, but weeks later it was clear that this was much easier said than done. He had a chance meeting with the CTO (a Tech expert) in a bar in Dublin, and one thing led to another! They started talking technology and commiserated with each other over the difficulties of migrating to AWS once you’ve outgrown shared hosting and realised that it was not a problem unique to the two of them but a challenge for many entrepreneurs and business owners. The next day, the CTO started working on building Cloudwith.me by highlighting the pain points, and ways to overcome these technically, before the hardest part which was how to simplify the entire process. With the support of a remote team of developers , the CTO had a fully working version within 6 months, which was made available to the public in 11 languages (more than AWS’ console!). Something that many people fail to appreciate is that AWS have created an incredible service that has it’s own dedicated language, so the average tech wizard will have little understanding on the basic terminology essential to even the most simple of tasks…such as migrating to AWS!

Q: What are your key features?
A: Cloudwith.me is more than just AWS migration, we have also taken into consideration some of the most common challenges that arise when migrating to a new hosting provider.
