Q: You’ve been recently selected for the Cybersecurity 500 list of the world’s hottest cybersecurity companies; tell us something more?
A: I was thrilled when Steve Morgan, founder and CEO at Cybersecurity Ventures and editor-in-chief of the Cybersecurity 500 contacted me with the news that not only were we being selected for the coveted Cybersecurity 500 list, but that we were being included in three categories!
I’ve been in the cyber security business for very long time and have been keenly aware of the Cybersecurity 500. Industry recognition like this is tantamount to the Oscars for actors. The beautiful thing is you cannot buy your way into being ranked unlike other rating organizations.
I had looked for years for a good solution to help me in my GRC work and the best the industry had to offer were old-school spreadsheets which are great for calculating numbers but terrible for conducting meaningful GRC assessments. That was the genesis for ITAM and the Policy Machine.
Our governance, risk and compliance solution innovations and service methodology is what caught their attention. It is such an honor to have our work validated by this prestigious independent organization.

Q: What is your core competence?
A: I’ve said it before. We help the global business community work smarter not harder. This simple sentiment speaks volumes. We have taken the complexity out of very complicated and sometimes convoluted governance, risk and compliance mandates and frameworks.
