Q: What is Findster?
A: Findster is the first GPS tracker for Kids and Pets without monthly fees. There are two primary devices, one for you and one for your loved one. These two modules are wirelessly connected to each other through a long-range radio frequency communication. This proprietary RF technology allows for two modules to communicate in a range of up to 1 km.
The guardian’s module serves as a gateway between the pet’s module and the smartphone (where all the data are visualized and controlled).
With the Findster app (on your smartphone) you can create virtual fences – receiving alerts anytime the child or pet leaves that area – and be notified if there was a fall, a deviation from a predetermined route or what was your pet’s activities throughout the day.
But there is an even bigger innovation: the Findster Base-station. This device increases the coverage area and allows the parent/guardian to “be everywhere”. If positioned in strategic points (like schools, playgrounds or in a friend’s house), a network will be created so that the parent/guardian can remotely access the current location of the child or pet. The more base-stations, the wider the Findster safe zone is.
Q: Could you tell us why Findster is different?
A: The greatest advantage of Findster is that we don’t require any extra fees – either monthly or annually. You pay it once and you can use it forever, without any restriction.
But besides this competitive advantage, we’ve also included in Findster several features that makes it the most complete GPS tracking system on the market.
Q: Tell us more about Findster Features? What’s your favorite feature?
A: Favorite feature? Well it depends which member of the Findster team you ask :)
For me personally (because I don’t have kids) – it’s the pet’s activity tracker. I would love to get home and see what my dog has been doing all day (for example, does he need a walk ?).
For our team members with kids it is the fall detection alert.
Oh, and I also love the possibility to combine the Findster Base-station with IFTTT (custom alerts).

Q: What is Findster ecosystem?
A: Basically we call the Findster ecosystem the combination of the two modules, the base-station and the Findster App. You can just use these two modules, but the system becomes much powerful if you add the Base-station.
Q: How would you present Findster Team?
A: We are a multidisciplinary team with years of experience in engineering, design and physics. We came together with the sole purpose of creating and developing technologies that will improve quality of life. Our goal is to bring security and peace of mind to everyone.
