Q: What’s TripTalk’s story? How did TripTalk start?
A: As it happens for many ventures these days, it wasn’t initially supposed to do what it does today, nor to be called what it is called today. What happened is that we worked on the definition of the preliminary idea which came to a halt as soon as we found out that there was an existing (successful) version of the idea. We then moved on to analyse the various ideas that would have acted as satellites to the original idea, identified the most promising one, and developed it into a single product. TripTalk also changed during the actual development, due to feasibility of the project, cost limitations and market feedback. The final route was consolidated the moment that my mother gave me an album containing all of the pictures from my early days of life to my 10th birthday. She wouldn’t stop lamenting the time it took her to complete the album, which lit the spark.

Q: What makes TripTalk- Story Maker a good choice?
A: In short, it is the only product to do what it does. It is a polished app, with incredible attention to detail and incredible customer service. In fact, we are in a stage where any customer feedback is really key for us. This means that your feedback will be heard and valued by us, greatly. It is the best way to tell a story, and the easiest way to share it.
Q: What kinds of feedback are you getting from your users?
A: Being at a very early stage, we obviously have had (up to today) some issues with customers wanting too many features and additions immediately, and we haven’t been able to keep up with the demand. Besides that, feedback on the idea itself has been incredible, with people from all over the world loving the aim of turning an intangible experience into a tangible product. Moreover, we are very excited for the upcoming launch of iOS, as a large amount of people have been asking us when the version for that platform would be released. We believe our presence on the app store is going to be hugely more impactful compared to the google play store.

Q: What is your main goal at the moment?
A: We have been looking to release iOS for the past 6 weeks but have been experiencing some severe technical issues that have lead us to continuously postpone the release date. The immediate need at the moment is to release the iOS version to be finally available on both platforms.
Q: What are your plans for the next year?
A: We are now seeking funding so the timeline for the moment is: release iOS, complete the fundraising round, sign of a new partnership with a new web agency to later implement the first series of update. All of this, while simultaneously investing in advertisement to scale the business. All of this ideally will lead to a following funding round, which will then be used for further improvements in technology and advertisement.

Q: What do you most need as of right now?
A: At the moment, we as a company are in the process of seeking feedback! In fact, I believe that our next steps in deciphering which direction TripTalk has to be steered towards largely depends on the consumer feedback of our users. Based on their needs, we will shape a service that is both innovative and tailored to their needs, at the same time.
