Chaitanya-Kumar Q: Tell us something more about IndustryARC and your history?

A: IndustryARC was established in 2014 by a group of industry veterans from the market research, strategic consulting fields with an added industry experience from the electronics, semiconductors, food processing and petrochemicals sectors. As the name suggests, we provide Analytics, Research and Consulting (ARC) services across 10 industry verticals at a global level.

Q: What’s the achievement IndustryARC is most proud of?

A: In a short span of 2 years, we have worked with more than 100 Fortune 1000 companies and provided our expertise with regards to market expansion plans, market entry strategies and competitive benchmarking analysis. We feel proud to be trusted by our clients in their growth endeavours and being a part of the overall decision-making, planning process through the data and analytics offered as per their requirements. We intend to continue building such long-lasting relationships with all our clients and assist Tier-II and Tier-III companies also in their annual growth planning initiatives.

Q: What are your plans for next six months?

A: We are using our extensive databases built during the past 2 years on market segments across industry verticals to provide custom analytics, dashboard tools to our existing clients. We believe our unique offering of big data analytics coupled with in-house market research and consulting capabilities can be wonderfully leveraged using tools such as Tableau, Spotfire, D3.Js and so on. These solutions also solve a range of pain points typically present in the market research industry and gives a complete end to end offering for any company irrespective of their size or industry.

Q: What were the main challenges you faced in developing the company?

A: Similar to any new company, the ability to build trust with clients and penetrate the market through competitor offerings with relatively no brand name are the major challenges faced by us in the beginning. However, as outlined in our beliefs and mission, the constant pursuit for high quality data with good accuracy levels helped us massively in showcasing our expertise among any other similar offerings. We currently provide the best ROI for our clients on the services provided to them and the direct, tangible benefits accrued in the long run.

We sincerely believe that our zero-compromise approach in providing data and meeting our client requirements will penetrate the competitive offerings and help IndustryARC in having a stable, organic growth curve in the next 5 years time.

Q: What is the current revenue or profitability scenario of the company and the roadmap?

A: IndustryARC has broken even in the first 6 months of its operations and has been bootstrapped from the start. Our turnover is in the range of $1.5M-$2M currently and are growing by more than 100% YoY. With the launch of our new products and services, we intend to reach out to a vast pool of diverse clientele in the next 5 years to target $20M in revenues by 2020. As such we are in active discussions with key VC firms who are interested in investing in our vision and growth plans.

Q: In the market research & business analytics market, what makes IndustryARC stand out?

A: As mentioned earlier, IndustryARC is the only company which can offer the unique services of Real Time Data Analytics + Market Research directly to clients across 10 main industry verticals. Typically these services are provided by different companies, and the clients need to integrate the same to get the complete outlook. This is a time-taking and expensive process, with lot of efforts to be put from the client end also.

Our unique offering hence addresses this major pain point and makes it a seamless experience wherein the client can view our data, custom insights, recommendations online itself and browse through our comprehensive data with minimal efforts and costs.
