Q: Kirusa solutions are being used by over 100 million mobile users every month, tell us something more about the company and your solutions?

A: Ever since its inception in 2001, Kirusa has enthusiastically delivered some of the most effective mobile technologies and value added services in the emerging markets of Africa, Asia, Middle East and Latin America.

Over the years, we have partnered with over 40 mobile carriers across these regions to provide our innovative solutions like InstaVoice®, InstaVoice Celeb™, InstaVoice Sports™, InstaVoice Ring™, myGenie™ & a host of mobile marketing solutions; and the results have been utterly rewarding.

The InstaVoice Services have especially garnered immense popularity among the mobile subscriber base in Africa and has achieved a remarkable landmark of 100 million monthly active users. This service is based on Kirusa’s patented technology and helps mobile users to be connected with each other using missed calls, voicemail, and Voice SMS.

Q: You’ve recently announced the launch of your services, InstaVoice Celeb, and InstaVoice Sports, with Natcom Haiti; how do you see Haitian subscribers responding to these services?

A: Haiti has a population, which is predominantly young and a culture that is uniquely vibrant.
Also, football, music and movies evoke passion amongst the people.

Our collaboration with Natcom to launch the InstaVoice Celeb and Sports Services in Haiti will provide a platform, wherein Haitian subscribers will easily connect with their favorite celebrities and receive regular celeb voice updates, along with uninterrupted soccer feeds. Therefore, we are hoping that Haitian subscribers will enjoy our innovative service that seeks to reflect their passion and aspirations for soccer and entertainment.

Q: What are your further plans for the emerging markets in Latin America?

A: Latin America has a fast emerging telecom market that is offers room for innovation in terms of mobile apps and solutions, along with the smart phone boom and 4G penetration.

We are therefore, looking forward to forge more partnerships with other telecom carriers to launch our services across the region. Kirusa had previously launched the InstaVoice Celeb and Celeb Connect & Sports Connect in Dominican Republic and Peru respectively and the same has received widespread acclaim in the continent.

Speaking of services, we have made our presence strong across Africa over multiple carriers and our most popular delivery has been the InstaVoice app amongst several others. This app has recently garnered an astounding landmark of 100 million monthly active users in the continent, with Nigeria being the largest subscriber base. We have plans to adopt a similar model in Latin America and hope to deliver the best of our services.

Q: What is Kirusa’s vision for 2017?

A: Kirusa will stick to its commitments with a broader vision to build innovative mobile services that will enrich people’s lives by helping them communicate, entertain and work, regardless of time and space. We have a few exciting products and partnerships in line for 2017 and we have been working upon the same. These new developments will set strong revenue channels for the future.
