Q: Mitch, tell us something more about Lesson.ly and your services?

A: Lesson.ly is learning automation software for better onboarding and ongoing learning programs. Our software makes it easy to create online lessons that help people do their jobs better. We have designed it with the learner at the forefront because when employees know how to do their job and what is expected of them, their lives improve.

Q: Could you explain the function and advantages of Lesson.ly?

A: We built Lesson.ly to help employees learn and make it easy to revisit lessons from any device, anywhere. We are different because we built Lesson.ly entirely around the learner. Traditional learning tech was created for compliance – to protect large companies from their employees. We exist to help companies empower their employees for better performance.

Q: Which customers benefit from your services and how?

A: Lesson.ly powers online learning for hundreds of thousands of people at hundreds of companies, including Intuit Workforce, Trunk Club, Gusto, Thumbtack, NBC News and MSNBC. They find its ease-of-use increases efficiency and effectiveness of training efforts, leading to improved performance.

Q: You’ve recently raised a $5 million funding round, what are your plans?

A: We have a big vision to make learning better for employees and companies everywhere. Already we’ve seen companies like the ones mentioned above transform the way their employees learn, and we’re just getting started. We’ll continue to make our vision a reality with the right people, the right technology, and by keeping everything we do focused entirely on the learner.

Q: How does the future look like for Lesson.ly in general?

A: There is so much opportunity to introduce more companies to our learner-focused approach to technology and provide companies a better way to educate their teams. We’ll look at more deeply connecting Lesson.ly into the lives of our customers – that’s everything from integrating with other systems, to advancing our learning automation capabiltiies, to serving the right lesson to the right person at the right time.
