Q: Can you give us more insights into technology industry in Ukraine?
A: The industry is developing despite a lack of support from government and certain government organisations even creating obstacles. The technology sector in Ukraine is going through significant growth with Ukraine transitioning from offshore programming and outsourcing, to becoming a real hub for startups in which the world’s largest companies are starting to invest in a meaningful way. The startup market is growing and multi-million dollar investments are coming in, showing that international investors see the opportunity in Ukraine.

A: The fact that we work in Ukraine is both a challenge and also an opportunity at the same time. Every day we find ourselves on the cutting edge of progress and face the problem of government and institutions not keeping pace with the industry. Then, our task is not only to promote our company, but to establish processes from scratch, in literally all aspects of business.
Q: What is the biggest lesson you’ve learned since founding your company?
A: That people come first! Without the best people you cannot be successful. It is people who are the carriers of ideas, experience and confidence, the absence of which makes any business impossible. That is why we are eager to create suitable conditions and we value every person in our team – the ones who join us today, and the ones with whom we have started the whole journey.

Q: More generally, how do you see the technology industry developing, and where do you place yourself in the industry?
A: We are of course one of the biggest companies and have been in the market a long time. Gaming software is a key part of the Ukrainian technology scene and we are at the heart of this growth.
Q: What advice would you give to budding entrepreneurs?
A: Never give up, keep on innovating and keep on dreaming.
