Q: Tell us something more about MedicaSoft and your software solutions?
A: At MedicaSoft, we have more than a decade of experience in providing software to doctors and hospitals in Europe, and we have deep expertise in the latest software technology in the US. We’re combining these elements to bring to market truly modern Electronic Health Record (EHR) and Personal Health Record (PHR) solutions. Most existing solutions are built on technology that is many years old, and that makes them hard to adapt to today’s healthcare best practices. As healthcare advances – with patient centered and team-based care, advanced analytics, and many other innovations – MedicaSoft¹s software is designed to support doctors and hospitals in improving health outcomes and efficiency.

Q: Could you explain the function and advantages of your Electronic Health Record (EHR) software?
A: Our ehr.NXT product is a complete EHR suite – full clinical and administrative capabilities including Laboratory, Pharmacy, and Radiology – that is fully modular and built on open, interoperable, customizable, cloud-ready technology. That means that we have the flexibility and power to work with our customers on solutions that fit the way they practice medicine, and that help them deliver better care. That includes technical flexibility to share data with patients and other providers and to integrate the latest analytics and clinical decision support, clinical flexibility to build workflow that supports and doesn’t inhibit their clinicians, and business flexibility to deliver software and services in the way they want to use and pay for them.

Q: What is HealthCenter (HC)?
A: HealthCenter (HC) is our easy-to-use patient portal and personal health record (PHR) manager. Patients use HC to manage and control their health information from their personal computer, tablet, or phone. HC allows patients to communicate directly with their providers, manage their family’s health information, integrate popular trackers like FitBit, and choose what health information they want to see on their own personal health dashboard.

Q: What are your plans for the future?
A: We are busy rolling out ehr.NXT and HealthCenter, our latest EHR and PHR products. We recently achieved Meaningful Use certification for both products, and we have a large customer rolling HealthCenter to more than 500,000 employees. We are also bringing out services that support our customers in secure exchange of health information – Health Information Service Provider (HISP) Services for Direct Secure Messaging.
We are also exhibiting at HIMSS16 in Las Vegas in March 2016 where we will demonstrate our HealthCenter and ehr.NXT products to conference attendees.
