Q: How would you describe NetraDyne in your own words?
A: At NetraDyne, we are pioneering a new phase of IoT where we are ‘pushing intelligence to the edge’; developing solutions for different industry verticals. We believe that the timeliness of actionable data is a key differentiator of precision. What we are building is rapidly growing and made up of a team of people who have proven track records of taking concepts from research to commercialization and are passionate about making an impact within our customer community.

Q: Can you give us more insights into your solutions?
A: There is a continuing technology movement that is driving rapid improvements in camera technology, processing, and connectivity. These improvements, along with advancements in deep learning technology, have created a perfect opportunity to deliver vision-based solutions across multiple industries. Our initial focus is delivering solutions to the commercial fleet industry. Netradyne’s technology casts a more detailed, intuitive view of each trip – capturing deeper conditions and visibility that leads to positive conversations between driver and fleet manager.
Q: What makes NetraDyne unique in the market?
A: The technology. We are using Deep Learning technology to solve a real world problem – driver safety. Our systems are continuously analyzing the video feeds and generating intuitive data addressing causality, safeguarding and exoneration.

Q: You’ve recently announced a $16 million series A funding round; what are your plans?
A: Our technology centers in San Diego, CA and Bangalore, India are hyper-focused on launching our Commercial Vehicle based platform. Prior to our funding announcement, we commenced field trials in Southern California with a number of commercial fleets. We are very active in consuming feedback and applied to the continued refinement of our platform. Netradyne is planning on commercially launching our platform later in 2016.

Q: How does the future look like for NetraDyne in general?
A: As you can imagine it is a very exciting time for NetraDyne. Our team is rapidly growing in both of our locations. The advantage of having multiple technology centers reshapes rapid development, collaboration and customer support. Driven from our team’s deep domain knowledge – ideation is core to our culture. Whether our team is focusing on the latest breakthrough technology, team lunches or huddling around the shuffleboard table in the break room, we believe that our future grows with every customer, and every driver that benefits from our platform.
