Startup Speakme is an online forum where users collaborate through video in global discussions about anything and everything they care about. Speakme Co-Founder Adam Fisch introducing his startup:

“Speakme is a social video experience to discuss anything and everything you care about. Members record videos of up to 30 seconds about topics that matter to them, and others publicly respond via their own recorded videos. These responses play sequentially, creating a full, vibrant conversation; less like a bulletin board, and more like a dinner conversation. By combining users’ social media presences with face- to-face interactions, we are seeking to make the internet a friendlier, more engaging, and collaborative place.”

“The team is made up of two founders, Zack Fisch and me. We’ve been building speakme for the last 8 months with an experienced outside development team. Our goal is to build a great community of members and content that contributes to the conversation. Right now, we are focused on building a network of early adopters that can help spread the word about speakme’s potential.”

“We are self funded for the time being, though we may have to seek outside funding down the road as our needs change. Right now we’re in private beta, and have begun opening up to the public this week. As we scale, we’ll slowly expand our user base until our community and product are ready for a broader public introduction.”
