Q: Could you provide our readers with a brief introduction to Actualize Consulting?
A: We deliver finance transformation solutions to rationalize and optimize operations by redesigning business processes and organizations and enhancing the utilization of technology. We are organized by practices with a focus on Capital Markets, Mortgage and Fixed Income, Treasury, and Culture Infusion. Our team’s vast experience assessing the current environment and implementing solutions as both practitioners and consultants uniquely positions us to deliver the best solution leveraging proven techniques.

Q: You’ve recently announced European expansion; could you tell us something more?
A: Over the past few years, we have seen increased demand for our services in the European market, and we have been supporting this work with our North America based team. Establishing a local presence will allow us to better serve our existing client base and provide a platform to serve a broader audience as part of our international expansion plans. We are excited to have Paul Baram to help lead this expansion. Paul’s focus on Capital Markets and Corporate Treasury aligns well with two of our core business segments. We have had the opportunity to work together in various capacity for over ten years, and the passion and commitment Paul has for bringing deep domain expertise and developing long-term client relations is well aligned with our philosophy. We both employ a client-centric and team-oriented approach and get enjoyment in solving complex problems for our client. We are excited to bring our expertise to the European market.
Q: What kinds of services do you provide to your clients?
A: Our services include finance transformation assessments, vendor selection of third party software or services and the integration of the selected solutions into our client’s operations. Additionally, we provide policy and procedure creation, data management, regulatory compliance and financial and management report package development. Our focus is on financial functions in Capital Markets, Corporate Treasury, Collateral, and Mortgage and Fixed Income.

Q: Tell us about your Treasury offering.
A: Our team has expertise in providing solutions to an array of challenges currently being faced by Treasury departments including the functions noted below. Recently, the largest demand has been in assessing technology and services to maximize the value Treasury can provide to its constituents while minimizing incremental spend. As part of this offering, we have assisted with numerous vendor evaluations as well as implementations of the selected solution. Through these engagements, we have accumulated a detailed understanding of the service and software products available in the marketplace and opportunities to utilize them to enhance the overall value proposition of the Treasury Department.
