An Interview With Adam Adler, The Founder Of The Adler Fund

Listen to this article

Below is our recent interview with Adam Adler, the Founder of The Adler Fund:

Q: Could you provide our readers with a brief introduction to your company?

A: The Adler Fund is a Charleston-based private investment firm focused on building and scaling high-growth companies and real estate ventures across the United States. Our work sits at the intersection of real estate, technology, and AI, where disciplined capital strategy combines with hands-on entrepreneurial execution to create lasting value. Beyond our investment portfolio, we have developed several of our own brands-built entirely from the ground up-and grown them into highly successful eight- and nine-figure exits. This capability demonstrates our strength not only in identifying opportunity, but in executing and scaling with precision. At our core, we prioritize integrity, long-term vision, and authentic partnership. We seek out founders and projects with bold potential, then work alongside them to turn strong ideas into resilient businesses and thriving communities.

Q: Your main focus is on Wyzly currently; can you tell us something more about that?

A: Wyzly has become a major focus for us because it represents exactly the kind of mission-driven technology we aim to build. The idea actually started at home: my daughter, Isla, who is both academically driven and an elite gymnast with a demanding schedule, came to me with the challenge every child and parent faces — balancing screen time with responsibilities. She wondered why there wasn’t a way for kids to earn their screen time by accomplishing something productive first. That simple question sparked the foundation for Wyzly. We set out to create a platform that transforms screen time into something purposeful by encouraging learning, discipline, and healthy digital habits. Wyzly uses adaptive educational tools to offer kids personalized questions and rewards them with screen time they’ve genuinely earned-giving parents structure and kids a sense of ownership. What makes Wyzly special is that it was inspired by a child who understands the value of hard work and balance. Isla’s perspective as a high-level athlete shaped the core philosophy: when you put in the effort, you unlock new opportunities. Wyzly brings Isla’s same mindset to families everywhere.

Q: Can you share with our readers something more about your multi-family/commercial realestate portfolio?

A: Real estate remains a core pillar of The Adler Fund’s strategy. Our real-estate efforts span commercial developments, luxury residential projects, strategic land investments, and other large-scale assets across the United States. We take a hands-on, data-driven approach-combining capital, operational expertise, and long-term vision to bring high-quality developments and stable, value-driven real assets to life. Through this diversified real-asset portfolio, we aim for longevity and resilience in value-blending returns with tangible, physical investments that stand the test of cycles. Although our holdings are national, we have some outstanding properties in Italy and Israel. Our number one focus will always be to build in our backyard, right here in Charleston.

Q: What is the best thing about your organization that people might not know about?

A: We marry innovation with legacy: Many people assume we’re either a tech fund or a real-estate firm. In reality, The Adler Fund occupies both worlds-investing in cutting-edge, mission-driven tech (like Wyzly) while simultaneously building and managing meaningful real estate assets. That duality gives us unique perspective and flexibility. We recently acquired a significant equity position in an AI based real-estate company that is at the forefront of lead generation with their proprietary technology which was all built in-house by the family operated office. We are super excited about this new addition to The Adler Fund and plan to announce it publicly in the coming weeks.

We invest with intention, not just capital: Our investments-especially in consumer- or family-facing ventures — are not about short-term growth, but about solving real problems. Wyzly is a perfect example: born from a parent’s everyday challenge, now scaled to address a universal parenting pain point. That empathy-driven investing is part of our DNA. Our AI real-estate company is helping 100s of families a year solve nearly impossible problems. We plan to grow that number quickly to the thousands of families a year and eventually tens of thousands.

We bring more than money-we bring execution: It’s one thing to fund ideas; it’s another to build businesses and communities. Our team combines strategic insight, operational discipline, and a willingness to roll up sleeves-whether that’s launching a tech product or delivering a real estate development. We take personal interests in our partnerships. We are very selective at who we onboard as a result. We are only taking true value add investments that we can make a real difference in operationally.

We think long-term and stay grounded: We care about the legacy-of our investments, our communities, and our relationships. That means integrity, transparency, and a commitment to value that persists not just for investors, but for families, tenants, and users who rely on what we build.
