Below is our recent interview with Benny Marotta, real estate developer and the CEO at Solmar Development Corporation:
Q: Could you provide our readers with a brief introduction to your company?
A: Solmar is a privately family-owned land development company that has been building new residential homes and high-rise communities for over 35 years.
Q: Can you give us more insights into what makes your company unique?
A: As a family-owned and operated corporation, we are involved in every aspect of each project. With attention to detail and design, we ensure each community has its own special qualities that enhance the lives of everyone who lives in a Solmar built home.
Q: Any highlights on your recent announcement?
A: We don’t necessarily have a recent or major announcement to share, but we do have a continued excellent rating with Tarion and many testimonials. Our Erin project was the most successful project launch in 2021.
Q: Can you give us insights into your products/services?

A: We design, develop and build master-planned communities across the Greater Toronto Area. Our focus is building luxury condominiums and homes that achieve only the highest design and development standards in the industry.
Q: What can we expect from your company in the next 6 months? What are your plans?
A: We are in the process of designing and planning a condominium project in Brampton city core that will be designated as the highest towers in Brampton. We are also in the process of planning subdivisions for the various lands we have in the development stage throughout the GTA.
Our current projects under construction if Edge towers where we have just started construction on our 3rd tower. Our Park Avenue Place project is in its final stages of completion with many purchasers taking occupancy. Both projects are at sold-out stages.
Q: What are some of the main objectives for your company in the year ahead and how do you plan to achieve them?
A: Our goal is to continue to raise our standards of construction and design and continue to be a high-quality builder of luxury high-rise communities and homes.
Q: What is the best thing about your company that people might not know about?
A: We have repeat buyers that have purchased homes and condos from us over the years. We are also to have multi-generational families purchase from us.
