Q: How have the past two years changed your business?

A: The pandemic had a significant impact on the entire real estate industry. Mainly, we noticed changes in buyer preference and fluctuating market conditions. The pandemic has led to changes in the types of properties that buyers are interested in, such as more interest in outdoor spaces and larger homes. We have had to adapt their interests to highlight properties that meet these new buyer preferences. There have also been fluctuations in the real estate market, with some areas experiencing price increases while others see declines, requiring us to review pricing strategies to reflect these changes in the market.

Q: Looking ahead a year, what’s the biggest change you expect in real estate and how are you preparing for that?

A: One of the biggest changes to expect in real estate is the increased use of technology. Our real estate professionals are becoming comfortable with using technology to manage assets, such as virtual showings, online document signing, and digital marketing. This brings seamless, streamlined experience to our clients. Any real estate professional should stay up to date with the latest technological advances and trends in the industry, involving attending conferences, webinars, and seminars, or networking – whatever it takes to gain an advantage.
