Below is our recent interview with Graeme Boyce, CEO at Talkin’ Fight:
Q: Could you provide our readers with a brief introduction to your company?
A: We launched the company a few years ago after covid had shut down the pubs and we couldn’t have a chat about boxing, so we met online. Within weeks, we were streaming a live show every Friday night on Zoom, and shortly thereafter it became The Friday Night Panel and it is still very popular. In fact, we had many guests approach us to appear on the show, which led to us creating new shows that are each now streamed on fourteen platforms simultaneously, and also held in an archive on our website. In general, we feature new boxers and retired boxers – and all in between – from around the world. It’s amazing to hear their personal and passionate stories, and they are all unique, yet all have a few things in common with respect to the benefits of boxing on so many levels.
Q: Any highlights on your recent announcement?
A: Recently, we have redesigned and relaunched our website and, as we look to the future, we are now offering tickets for sale to boxing events through both Ticketmaster and StubHub. We are currently reaching out to independent promoters who do not have access to these companies and offering to sell their tickets to the public wherever their events are being held in the world. Later this year we will take camera crews to shows and livestream events, as well as sell tickets in advance whether to the event itself or on a pay-per-view level. When covid came to a close last year we ventured into a few local venues and have had a lot of fun broadcasting events and interviewing and showcasing both amateur and professional fighters with great success.

Q: Can you give us more insights into your offering?
A: In general, it is our collective vision to help boxers financially and help them to improve in the sport by introducing bundled technologies into gyms. In the short-term, we are developing a section of our website that will be specifically devoted to boxers, whereby they can update their profiles regularly and accept donations from their fans, while also offering an integrated system of hardware and software that will enable gym owners to capture a boxer’s movement and provide analysis over time that will assist them to demonstrate how their foot speed or punch force, and an array of other skills, are improving. We feel this will not only help boxers, but ultimately ensure fans that the best of the best are truly meeting toe-to-toe in the ring year after year.
Q: What can we expect from your company in the next 6 months? What are your plans?
A: In the mid-term, we will continue to work with our technology partners to develop a turnkey system for promoters that will be driven by artificial intelligence. This system will follow the movements of the boxers in the ring and deliver their performance live to audiences around the world. As well, we will provide ringside commentators – our well-known show hosts – and, as we move into new territories in Asia, Africa and Latin America, we will have commentators located in our head office studio to provide their analysis based on the language of the targeted audience, whether Spanish, French or Tagalog. In brief, we will provide systems to trainers and to promoters that will increase revenue streams based on our ability to increase exposure of the sport to boxing fans worldwide.

Q: What is the best thing about your company that people might not know about?
A: Ultimately, focussed on the boxing industry, we intend on delivering a full spectrum of Immersive Content for fans, to include Augmented Reality, Virtual Reality and 3D, given the new systems we are developing in our labs. But I’m quite sure what a lot of people don’t know about Talkin’ Fight is that our company has grown organically: we’ve paid for everything from our own pockets, because we are passionate about what we are doing. Over the past two years, we have moved on from a single show to having produced over a dozen shows with thousands of episodes, which are each offered as podcasts. For our efforts, we’ve been proudly nominated for an award in the category of Sportscaster of The Year.
