Q: What is the story behind AddÉnergie?

A: AddÉnergie Technologies develops, designs, manufactures, markets and operates charging infrastructures for electric vehicles. It is the main supplier of terminals for the Hydro-Québec Electric Circuit. AddÉnergie also has its own network, RéseauVER, for the private market.

Q: Your most important achievement to date?

A: To have followed my dream, to be my own boss, while surrounding myself with competent people.

Q: The most satisfactory recognition obtained?

A: See my charging stations installed everywhere when I drive by car. We create jobs. We are contributing to the reduction of greenhouse gases and we are developing a brand new industry in Quebec.

Q: Where do you see yourself in five years?

A: AddÉnergie will be the company that will manage the largest number of charging stations for electric vehicles in North America.

Q: Failure, it scares you?

A: Not really. It does not mean the end of the world. It’s the experience that comes back.

Q: Your model?

A: André Chagnon, the founder of Videotron. An electrician who has managed to build an empire and who, one day, with the funds raised by the sale of his business, has created a foundation that fights poverty.

Q: Your greatest pleasures in life except work?

A: Being present with my spouse Gabrielle and my sons Loïc (3 years) and Émile (18 months). Without them, my life would come down to work.

A: Respect people. The day you plant, they’ll be there to help you up.

Q: The best advice for a young entrepreneur?

A: Go! Stop asking yourself questions. Take action.
