Q: Could you provide our readers with a brief introduction to Wise Marketer Group?

A: We deliver timely and unbiased perspectives to a global audience of marketing professionals. On the other hand, The Loyalty Academy™ offers the world’s first formalized educational and training curriculum for customer loyalty professionals and marketers of all stripes. Our educational curriculum and platform provides education via our online curriculum, and we hope to see a return of our annual workshops around the world after COVID-19. We are the source of the professional certification: Certified Loyalty Marketing Professional™ (CLMP).

Q: What encouraged you to launch

A: The Wise Marketer was originally launched in 1999 in the UK. We took over the publication in 2016 after realizing the loyalty marketing industry is a $200bn+ industry globally and it did not have a central source of news. We seized the opportunity and have since then grown it to become the widest read source of news for the loyalty marketing industry. Now there is a truly central, timely, and unbiased source to read news, insights, or research for our industry.

Q: Can you tell us more about the Loyalty Academy? It sounds really interesting.

A: The Loyalty Academy is the premier global education and membership organization for loyalty marketing practitioners. We offer certification for loyalty marketing professionals via online, in-person, customized in-house educational workshops, seminars, and corporate training. The Loyalty Academy™ also offers membership options that provide free access to loyalty marketing publications and tools, discounted tuition fees, and discounted registration to Loyalty Academy events worldwide. The Loyalty Academy is the issuer of the Certified Loyalty Marketing Professional (CLMP) certification which is the most recognized professional certification for loyalty marketers in the world.

Q: What is the Certified Loyalty Marketing Professional certification and how can somebody get started?

A: Anybody can get started by visiting The educational curriculum services both young professionals, but also seasoned professionals. The curriculum has entry level courses about best practices to advanced courses on accounting for liability in loyalty programs. The curriculum is open to those who wish to only take one course on a topic and to those that want to become Certified Loyalty Marketing Professionals (CLMP). If you want the opportunity to earn your CLMP, you must take 14 courses and pass your final exam. Once the courses are completed, your final exam passed, and a Board of Regents review, you can earn the right to call yourself a Certified Loyalty Marketing Professional.

Q: What are the company’s plans and goals for the future?

A: We want to continue to serve our community by providing unbiased and timely coverage of the CRM, loyalty marketing, and customer loyalty industry and continue to offer the best professional education for loyalty marketers. The Certified Loyalty Marketing Professional community has grown to over 165 professionals across 20 countries. We are excited for it to have already grown to a global presence and we look forward to helping others become leaders in this industry.
