Below is our recent interview with Matthew Iovane, Partner at beverage startup Bloc Collective:

Q: Could you provide our readers with a brief introduction to your company?

A: Our company was founded in 2020, during the covid19 pandemic, when we saw an opportunity to bring people together once the pandemic lifted and by doing so, creating experiences teamed with great flavored canned cocktails. Bloc Collective is a community and cocktail company born in New York City and formed in celebration of unforgettable experiences. We are all natural with no additives, preservatives, gluten or added sugar to appeal to every +21 consumer that wants to enjoy not only a great tasting drink but also an experience. Our cocktails are built to be light, refreshing and sessionable, with a premium cocktail flavor profile.

Q: Can you give us more insights into what makes your company unique?

A: Once Bloc-collective has been purchased from the liquor store, restaurant or bar, that customer can take the opportunity to scan the QR code on the side of each can or box sleeve to see what events are happening in whichever city they have purchased bloc-collective. We’re not just a cool, all natural drink but we are also your social calendar!

Q: Any highlights on your recent announcement?

A: Yes! We will be launching a 10% ABV line of bloc-collective with a new flavor added to our existing portfolio which we are in the final stages of developing, due to launch Q4 2022.

Q: Can you give us insights into your products?

A: We currently have two different 5.5% ABV SKUs, Our vodka soda with pink grapefruit, ginger and basil and our gin and tonic with blood orange and cucumber. It’s made with real fruit juice, no junk, and only 125 calories per can.

Q: What can we expect from your company in the next 6 months?

A: Our launch in California. Q1 2022.

Q: What are some of the main objectives for your company in the year ahead and how do you plan to achieve them?

A: We plan to increase our internal sales team while still maintaining a strong partnership with our distributors in each state.

Q: What is the best thing about your company that people might not know about?

A: We have super cool merch that can be purchased via our IG @bloc-collective.
