Q: Slav, can you provide our readers with a brief introduction to Plan A Technologies?
A: Plan A Technologies creates complex custom software, upgrades existing technology platforms, and provides top engineering and creative talent for organizations around the world. We have deep expertise in multiple sectors ranging from financial services to healthcare and serve both Fortune 500 companies and startups alike. It seems to be a winning formula, because we’ve more than doubled in size over the last year and we’ve built solutions that are used by millions of people around the world.
Q: Any highlights on your recent announcement?
A: We’ve recently been delighted to discover we received two prestigious tech awards. Plan A is one of two winners of the Information Technology Startup of the Year at the 10th Annual CEO World Awards, and we also just won the Best Software Engineering & Product Development Firm in the Western U.S. at the Software & Technology Awards. Beyond this, we’re proud to participate in the 2022 Global Gaming Expo. We helped build many of the coolest technologies and games featured by other companies at G2E.

Q: Can you give us more insights into your offering?
A: In many ways, we’re tech ghostwriters. We like to tell our clients that we do the work, while you take the bow. Plan A Technologies has an incredibly high customer satisfaction rate, and a major reason for this is the quality of our team. Every new hire goes through a rigorous interview process that includes complex technical questions and testing. Ultimately, we hire less than 3% of applicants. But once we find these individuals, we work extremely hard to retain them. The result is continuity, both with our team and our clients, which is rare in tech or, I suppose, any industry.
Q: What can we expect from your company in the next 6 months? What are your plans?
A: We’re planning to continue to grow while maintaining our standards. We’re both getting into new verticals and continuing to enter new geographies. We’re already in 17 countries on five continents, with more soon to come.

Q: What is the best thing about your company that people might not know about?
A: I believe there are two things. First, we really understand the stakes of technology issues. We have actually saved several of our clients from bankruptcy or threatened lawsuits by helping them get their technology back on track. Second, we really do strive to create true partnerships with clients. Our contributions go beyond tech: Due to our understanding of regulatory issues and our experience building businesses ourselves, we provide our clients both with actual software development along with deeper business advice related to technology issues.
