Below is our recent interview with Tom Wood, CEO at The Boundary:
Q: Could you provide our readers with a brief introduction to your company?
A: The Boundary’s is a pioneering CGI studio whose reputation as an expert collective of creative technologists, designers, filmmakers and storytellers has been built working on marketing campaigns for prestigious real estate developments such as the Waldorf Astoria (New York), 175 Park Avenue (New York) and The Whiteleys (London) via the creation of hyper-photorealistic CGI visualizations, animated films and virtual reality experiences. This expertise has extended in recent years to provide hyper photorealistic CGI marketing content for luxury brands such as Mercedes Benz and Fisher and Paykel.
Q: Why is this acquisition significant for the emerging metaverse industry?
A: To date all metaverse content which has been produced and consumed globally has been created using cartoon style graphics and fantastical visuals which are more synonyms with teenage computer games than they are premium global brands. The Boundary is a clear world leader in the creation of CGI content of unbuilt environments which are hyper photorealistic, and by bringing together this creative expertise with Buildmedias technical prowess using real time gaming technology, we are now capable of producing immersvice metaverse environments which are beautiful and sophisticated, whilst still unconstrained by the limits of the physical world.
