Below is our recent interview with Gogie Padilla, CEO and Founder at Answer Sure:

Q: Could you provide our readers with a brief introduction to your company?

A: Answer Sure, LLC is a phone scam prevention service with utility on landlines and on cellphone with the use of our AnswerSure App. Our aim is to assist at safeguarding anyone plagued by phone fraud of any kind: scam calls, spam calls, and robo-calls. With older individuals intentionally being targeted our service offers two landline plans which vet the caller. This is done using a password or numeric code chosen by our client. With the accurate code the caller gains entry onto the client’s telephone. Without the correct code either a message will be taken, or the caller will need to find the code from another source.

Q: Can you share the impetus for you creating Answer Sure, LLC?

A: Answer Sure, LLC was created first and foremost to protect my mother who was receiving up to 39 calls a day with over 90% coming from scam calls: everything from social security offices, to banks, the IRS, etc. It was overwhelming. At the time my Mom was 84, a very independent and viable woman living on her own became inundated with these calls. The final straw came when one of these scammers actually showed up at her front door in the guise of “her” bank’s representative. He was there to collect her “defective” ATM bank card. Luckily, Mom was not injured in any way. However, this was the last straw for me, I went on the hunt for a devise, service, anything that would create a barrier to these dangerous calls. I was not able to find anything that met my needs, so I created Answer Sure, LLC.

Q: Can you share with us some unique features your service offers?

A: Sure! Our Answer Sure, LLC landline service is a stand-alone, I’ve not found anything like it available to the general public. Our AnswerSure App, like many similar apps, works with a dynamic database of known scam phone numbers and does not allow those phone numbers to ring through to your cell phone. Our App also offers the user the autonomy to block individuals on one’s own contact list, as well as to block spoofing calls (these are calls with very similar phone numbers that are used to lessen one’s suspicion, so the call is answered). The two unique features found on the app are: remote activation, which is especially helpful since it allows you to activate the application on behalf of someone else such as, elderly parents, etc. who may have a challenge navigating the website and completion of the activation and payment processes on their own. In addition, the app allows for direct communication between Answer Sure and our app users in the form of surveys. Another item I’ve not found present on such apps.

Q: What can we expect from your company in next 6 months? What are your plans?

A: Our aim is to help protect as many individuals as possible. We are constantly learning new ways of securing the phone lines and we are sure within 6 months or more we may have Answer Sure 2.0. We are also in the process of marketing our service in the US. At Answer Sure, LLC we believe once we accomplish the media rounds and gain recognition as a known and reliable service through targeted marketing our service will grow. Now, we are aware Answer Sure, LLC may not be for everyone, however, if one believes in taking 24/7, 365 days a year proactive prevention to protect yourself or loved ones, then we believe our service may be for you.

Q: What is the best thing about your company that people might not know about?

A: Answer Sure, LLC was created to protect a family member and that is how we continue to work with each and every client. Our mission is to help prevent scam calls and the pain and hardship they call for many people as possible and intend to continue being a barrier of safety for our clients.
