Below is our recent interview with Andy Tian, CEO and Co-Founder of Asia Innovations Group:

Q: Could you provide our readers with a brief introduction to Asia Innovations Group?

A: Asia Innovations Group is the leading social mobile entertainment platform that brings the next generation of mobile experiences from Asia to the world. Across our portfolio of products AIG has approximately 100 million users spanning over 100 countries. AIG’s founding team previously held senior positions at tech giants such as Tencent, Google and Zynga, and combines proven practices with innovative business models to revolutionize the social entertainment space.

We made approximately 150 million USD in revenue in 2017, and are projected to hit 250 million by end of this year. We have offices in 15 global capital cities, and our products are translated and operated globally.

Q: Can you give us insight into your products?

A: Our products span mobile livestreaming, video, gaming and social and lead in their respective categories. We are also constantly incubating new products to stay ahead of the curve. Our current products on market include:

1- Uplive: Is a mobile live-streaming platform with over 65m users globally and 400,000 broadcasters receiving virtual gifts from over 60 million fans across the world in over 16 languages. Uplive’s success comes from top-notch streaming tech, a unique curation model for high-quality broadcasters, and the world’s best virtual gifting experience. We are #1 in Taiwan, HK, Singapore, Vietnam, Malaysia, the Middle East and North Africa, and are seeing strong growth in Japan, Indonesia, and more.

2- Super Fans: SuperFans is the most popular app used by Chinese celebrities to interact with their fans, with over 40% of Chinese celebrities actually using the app. With SuperFans, fans can easily follow the news feed of stars and idols from a variety of platforms including Weibo, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter and Youtube.

3- Gifto: Is a decentralized social entertainment ecosystem which empowers the world’s content creators with the Gifto token. To date, over one million Gifto wallet holders can already use the Gifto token to buy and share virtual gifts and unlock fun experiences across live-streaming, gaming and online/offline retail services.

4- Giftomon: As part of our decentralized entertainment ecosystem, Giftomon launched two months ago to be the world’s fastest growing blockchain-based HTML5 game. Users collect, breed, mine, and battle in the wacky world of Giftomon, and users transact in the Gifto token.

5-Peng Peng la: is China’s biggest gamified chat app, with over 40 million users, PengPeng broke many records, including the highest single day traffic for an HTML5 app, achieving 180Mln PV’s in 1 day.

6 – Soon we will launch CoinUp, the world’s first livestreaming platform that will serve crypto and blockchain communites and projects. Content creators on CoinUp will be rewarded live for their work and contributions with cryptocurrency.

Q: Why is now the time for Asia Innovation products to take over the market?

A: Asia Innovations has a track record of identifying new technologies and leveraging them for great entertainment products that capture the attention of millions of consumers. With Gifto AIG goes one step further and uses blockchain technology to address the main problems faced by digital creators, such as broken ad-based compensation and unsustainable audience interaction.

Through Gifto content creators can capture more of the economics by skipping advertisement intermediaries. Also they are able to interact with their communities across all platforms and establish personal and lasting relationships through virtual gifts and engravings on the blockchain.

Q: What is Gifto? How did you come up to the idea for it?

A: As I mentioned before, Gifto is a social entertainment ecosystem, where anyone can create, earn, share and support what matters to them. We are giving the power of internet to users by enabling masses of content creators, gamers, NGOs, etc. to earn a better living online while sharing their unique content with the world.

Gifto is about more than just a transfer of value, which any of the other coins can do as well. It’s about creating a social context, a social value, based on our successful experience with virtual gifting in Uplive, which is it’s major revenue source.

The average streamer on Uplive can make up to 3,000 USD per month through receiving virtual gifts from their fans that are personally customized for them, and brings more joy for both giver and receiver.

With Gifto, we’re taking this proven virtual gifting model to the entire internet, across all social media platforms through a simple web link.

Q: Why do you think that blockchain empowers content creators?

A: Platforms like Twitter, Facebook and Instagram run a ton of advertisements. Those dollars go directly from advertisers to the social media platforms, with little or none of it going to the majority of content creators.

Social media and video platforms have forgotten the communities that built them, and this is why Gifto will create a movement to bring power and value back to users.

Q: What are your plans for the future?

A: Uplive products will go on to touch hundreds of millions of lives as we continue bringing the best innovation from Asia to the world, and redefine what’s possible with social consumer products.

We are using all tools and technology solution to reform social entertainment, and solve obviouse problems with social media and entertainment industry.

We are not stopping at any limit, we have an open mind for anything, because we have the tools, the talents and the vision to make whatever we imagine a reality.
