Q: Could you provide our readers with a brief introduction to BCP Veterinary Pharmacy?
A: We are specializing and developing exciting new new ways of treating household and exotic animals. One example is our VetChews®. Some of our clients include M. D. Anderson Cancer Center, Houston Zoo, Dallas Zoo, Brooklyn Zoo, Central Park Zoo, Disney’s Animal Kingdom, New York Aquarium, and Prospect Park Wildlife Center in New York.
Q: Can you give us insights into your products?
A: All of our products are compunded specifically for each of our patients. This can range from capsules to liquids. It’s all custom compounded on our premises.This makes it so we can work with a large variety of animals.

Q: BCP VetChews® were invented by Jennifer Gimon in 1994; what is it and how does it work?
A: Our VetChews® were created to combat the “pilling” method. So instead of trying to force an animal to take medication, why not make it something they will gobble down in a heartbeat? Q: What are your plans for the future?
A: We have made a huge push on the BCP PZI® Bovine Insulin for cats. We have replicated a discontinued insulin formula, that is the closet match to feline insulin available on the market. Besides that, we always strive to work with more vets across the country to help them better deal with their client needs.
