Q: What is the difference between BRX and BRK?
A: BRK is the gaming coin and primary currency. You can use it to purchase games from the Breakout Game Store, wager on a PVP game including CS:GO, LoL and our proprietary browser game Desert Warfare. BRK will also be offered for direct transactions within in our casino, poker and lotto sites.
BRX is what is called a staking coin. By simply holding BRX in your wallet you mint BRK. This is a processes called Proof of Stake. It removes the need for costly mining equipment to secure the network transactions. For example, Bitcoin uses Proof of Work (POW) where miners use high powered costly GPU’s to mine BTC by solving complicated cryptographic puzzles in order to validate transactions . This takes a tremendous amount of electricity and processing power. Proof of Stake (POS) achieves the same thing in a much more environmentally friendly way. BRX is your mining rig.
Breakout Coin is the first POS coin that has removed the staking element and put it into a second coin. This promotes liquidity of BRK since you are not required to hold the principal currency in your wallet, just the staking coin.
Q: Where can people buy BRX and BRK?
A: BRK and BRX can be purchased on Bittrex or Nova Exchange. It will become available on more exchanges soon. You can also withdraw your PvP balances in BRK as well as several other options

Q: What have been some major milestones over the last 12 months?
A: Securing the Curacao gaming licence was a huge milestone for us. It allows us to integrate BRK into the casino and poker environments. We do not work in any grey areas of the law. The legal landscape surrounding international gambling is complicated and fluid. This licence allows us to move forward with our goal of integrating crypto currency legally into our casino, poker and lottery sites.. We are very excited about this! Releasing a mobile version of our Poker software was also a very important step.Recently we added the ability to have password protected poker tournaments. This allows us to work with poker communities and clubs to host private poker tournaments, and to work with our brand ambassadors more efficiently.
Q: What were the main challenges you faced in developing the company?
A: I think the hardest part of all this is the amount of time it takes to put all the pieces together. The legal hurdles alone are immense. Working with over 22 vendors in itself is a challenge. Constantly upgrading while improving along the way and still moving forward is a difficult challenge but we have a talented and dedicated team working from all over the world.
Q: What are your plans for next four months?
A: To have BRK integrated into the casino, poker and lotto. We want to make this as simple as possible so new people can come play and learn about cryptocurrency at the same time. This is not an easy task. Cryptocurrency is inherently difficult for someone who has never used it. We hope to change that. We have plans for a simple Web wallet just for BRK to make it easier for new people who want to try it but may not be up for running a full multi currency wallet on their computer as well as enhancing the educational tools on our websites.
