BrightMove’s recruitment software is a go-to scalable, flexible system that has rapidly outpaced the recruitment business saving you time and money while also boosting your recruitment strategy. To find out more about the company and its software we sat down with Chris Wing, Senior Consultant at BrightMove:
Q: Chris, who are the primary users of your products and what are some of the key challenges you are helping them solve?
A: We serve clients focused on third party staffing, internal HR, and Recruitment Process Outsourcing. BrightMove CM, our most recent product launch, is our core Applicant Tracking System, packaged in a pay-for-what-you-use consumption model.
Q: Could you explain the function and advantages of BrightMove CM?
A: Functionally, the advantage of CM is that you get a robust Applicant Tracking System that has been on the market since 2005, for $0.25/day plus usage (usage is based on the amount of data you put in: resumes, candidates, contacts, etc… as well as how many jobs you have open at a given time – We have a cost breakdown example on our website).
Signing up is self service, so there is no sales push, no contract to sign. Add or remove users as needed.
You can even suspend your account and start it up again when ready.
You have complete control of your spend instead of having to commit to set number of users at $100+ per month / per user. And you do not have to sign a long term contract.

Q: What is unique about BrightMove and how does it stand out from competition?
A: BrightMove CM is mobile responsive, 100% web-based (hosted by Amazon Web Services). It is both an Applicant Tracking System and a CRM.
BrightMove has sourcing tools and business development tools built into the system.
Like most good ATS’s, BrightMove posts to many top job boards, and has a job portal for candidates to apply to jobs.
Q: What geographic markets are you focusing on currently?
A: U.S. and Canada primarily, but we do support and sell worldwide with customers in Europe, South America, and the Pacific Rim.

Q: What milestones can we expect from you over the next 12 months?
A: BrightMove development runs 3 week sprint cycles, so the product is literally being updated and enhanced every three weeks.
Major updates expected in 2017 include:
1. BrightForms – a new on-boarding, form building component.
2. Interview Scheduling
3. Improving our SourceJet sourcing tool
