Below is our recent interview with Fatima Zaidi, the Founder and CEO at CoHost:
Q: Could you provide our readers with a brief introduction to your company?
A: CoHost is a podcast hosting and analytics platform built for brands and agencies. The platform equips companies with the necessary tools to publish, grow, and measure their branded podcasts.
Built by award-winning podcast agency, Quill Inc., we created CoHost out of our own need for a platform that can manage, scale, and report on podcast success for clients. From creation to analysis, CoHost’s tools help to improve marketing performance with insights to make an impact and measure ROI.
Q: Any highlights on your recent announcement?
A: Over the past year, our team has worked with brands, agencies, and content marketers to not only identify the gaps in the industry but also have a deep understanding of our user’s needs. From this research, we’ve launched valuable branded podcast features such as:
- Listener profiles to breakdown who your audience is
- Custom tracking links so you can measure what drives downloads
- Average consumption rates so you can analyze engagement
- Automatic transcriptions to boost search engine visibility and accessibility
We’re also excited that in addition to our recent IAB certification, brands like TD Bank, Amdocs, Expedia, and Uberflip are already using CoHost to grow their podcasts.
Q: Can you give us more insights into your offering?
A: With the rise of on-demand audio over the past few years (especially during Covid-19), more and more brands are beginning to add podcasts to their marketing stack. But podcasts are still a relatively new medium, and because of this, not all marketing teams know how to effectively grow a successful show.
CoHost works to solve this problem while also helping you save time and budget. Through features like easy podcast hosting & management, comprehensive analytics & reporting, and custom tracking links & attribution, our platform simplifies your brand’s podcasting workflow.
Q: What can we expect from your company in the next 6 months? What are your plans?
A: Our focus has been and will continue to be on creating a better podcast experience for brands by building the future of audience insights. In the next six months, we have some exciting features in the pipeline to give brands and agencies more in-depth insights into performance, audience, and promotion.
Although we can’t say exactly what we’re building just yet, we can’t wait to share with our users and the industry what’s slated to launch.
Q: What is the best thing about your company that people might not know about?
A: I think one of the best things is that, as we mentioned above, we were built by the corporate podcast agency, Quill. This has given us a unique window into the challenges and opportunities for CoHost’s target audience since we are the target audience.
Quill’s helped hundreds of brands and creators launch, scale, and drive revenue through podcasts. And we’ve poured all of that knowledge into CoHost to build a product that companies can utilize for their branded podcast. We know what it takes to build a successful podcast, and now we’re sharing that with the industry.Activate Social Media:
