Cybersecurity And AI Solutions Company Avint Helps You Secure, Modernize, And Transform Operations In An Increasingly Complex Threat Environment

Below is our recent interview with Marcie Nagel, CEO at Avint:

Q: Could you provide our readers with a brief introduction to your company?

A: Avint is a cybersecurity and AI solutions company dedicated to helping organizations secure, modernize, and transform their operations in an increasingly complex threat environment. We support federal agencies, defense organizations, intelligence community partners, and commercial enterprises with mission-focused solutions spanning cybersecurity operations, governance and compliance, security engineering, cloud modernization, and AI-enabled automation.

Founded in 2018, Avint was built on a simple principle: technology should empower mission outcomes. Today, we combine deep cybersecurity expertise with emerging technologies, advanced analytics, and automation to help our clients reduce risk, improve resilience, and achieve their strategic objectives. Whether we’re supporting a national security mission or helping an organization strengthen its security posture, our focus remains the same, delivering measurable results and lasting value.

Q: What makes you the best choice? How are you unique?

A: What sets Avint apart is our ability to bridge the gap between mission needs, cybersecurity expertise, and emerging technology innovation. We don’t just advise our clients, we work alongside them to solve complex challenges and deliver outcomes that matter.

Our team includes former military, law enforcement, intelligence, and federal technology leaders who understand the realities of operating in high-stakes environments. That experience allows us to bring both strategic insight and practical execution to every engagement.

We are also investing heavily in the future of cybersecurity. Through AI-enabled cyber operations, vulnerability intelligence, automation, and advanced analytics, we’re helping organizations move beyond traditional approaches to cybersecurity and make faster, more informed decisions. Combined with our agility, customer focus, and commitment to excellence, this enables us to deliver enterprise-level capabilities with the responsiveness of a highly engaged partner.

Q: Who is your ideal client and why?

A: Our ideal clients are organizations with critical missions and complex operational challenges. These organizations often operate in highly regulated environments where cybersecurity, resilience, compliance, and modernization are essential to mission success.

We are most effective when partnering with organizations that view cybersecurity as a strategic business enabler rather than simply a compliance requirement. The strongest client relationships are built on collaboration, trust, and a shared commitment to innovation and continuous improvement.

Q: What can we expect from you in next 6 months? What are your plans?

A: Over the next six months, Avint will continue investing in artificial intelligence, cyber automation, and mission-focused innovation. One of our most exciting initiatives is GRACE, an AI-enabled platform designed to transform the way organizations approach cybersecurity compliance and system authorization.

Today, many organizations spend significant time and resources developing, maintaining, and validating authorization artifacts required under the Risk Management Framework (RMF). Through GRACE, we are working toward automating up to 70% of the authorization lifecycle, including the generation and maintenance of key artifacts such as System Security Plans (SSPs), Security Assessment Plans and Procedures (SAPs), Security Assessment Reports (SARs), and Plans of Action & Milestones (POA&Ms).

By reducing manual effort and streamlining compliance activities, GRACE enables organizations to accelerate authorization timelines, improve consistency and accuracy, and focus their resources on managing risk rather than producing documentation. Our vision is to fundamentally modernize the authorization process through intelligent automation, helping customers move faster while maintaining the highest standards of cybersecurity and compliance.

To support this next phase of growth, we recently welcomed former FBI Chief Information Officer Jeff Bauerlein as Avint’s Chief Strategy Officer. Jeff’s leadership and experience driving enterprise technology transformation, cybersecurity modernization, and mission innovation at scale will help accelerate our strategic vision, strengthen customer partnerships, and expand the impact of the solutions we deliver.

Together, these investments reflect Avint’s commitment to helping customers harness the power of AI, automation, and cybersecurity innovation to achieve mission success.

Q: What is the best thing about your company that people might not know about?

A: While we’re known for cybersecurity expertise and technical excellence, what many people don’t realize is that our culture is one of our greatest competitive advantages.

We have intentionally built a people-first organization where employees are empowered to lead, innovate, and grow. That commitment has earned recognition as a Great Place to Work and helped us attract and retain exceptional talent in one of the most competitive industries in the world.

We believe that when you invest in people, great outcomes follow. Our clients benefit from engaged, mission-focused professionals who are passionate about solving problems, supporting one another, and delivering excellence every day.
