Q: D’Amore Personal Injury Law has been named the #1 Medical Malpractice Firm and #2 Personal Injury Firm in the Daily Record Reader Rankings; could you tell us something more?
A: I started D’Amore Personal Injury Law with one goal: to deliver the best possible representation to people who had suffered because of someone else’s mistake. In my prior 18 years of practice, I had seen too many lawyers put their egos and their pocket books ahead of the interests of the clients. We weren’t going to do that. We were going to craft solutions for our clients that made sense for them, even if they didn’t make us rich.

Q: What is your message for people who voted for you?
A: A sincere and heartfelt “thank you!” to everyone who voted for us, and to everyone who works at the Firm. This would not have been possible without you.
Q: What have been some other major milestones over the last 12 months?
A: Recently, we welcomed Attorney Scott Lucas to the Firm. Scott’s 20 years of experience handling high profile cases involving landlord/tenant security, police misconduct, commercial trucking and automobile crashes will be an invaluable benefit for our clients.
We also just recently announced a partnership with the Baltimore Ravens Community Action Team and the Baltimore Hunger Project. This partnership is opportunity for us to work with the Baltimore Hunger Project’s Executive Director, Lynne Khan, in her fight against food insecurity among Baltimore’s school-aged children. 72,000 of the City’s students are currently considered food insecure. It is a major problem, and everyone at D’Amore Law is excited to be a part of the solution.

Q: What do you find most interesting and rewarding in terms of running the company?
A: A wise person once said “a rising tide raises all boats.” Everyone at D’Amore Law understands that if we do right by our clients, they will be rewarded both financially and spiritually. This creates an atmosphere of positive energy and joy that permeates through the office everyday. It gives me a front row seat to watch the difference we make for our clients, and the positive effect that it has on our staff and their own families.
