Q: Could you provide our readers with a brief introduction to your company?
A: DreamMate is a startup created by college students that helps college students find their co-founders, hire their team, or join a startup at their local university. We have a network of over 1,000 colleges and universities, and our goal is to help students launch their businesses while still in school. We also want to help college students learn more about the workforce by joining startups at their universities.
Q: What is your startup story?
A: Ben and Ivan always had the goal of being founders and entrepreneurs. Currently, both of them are in college, and they realized the harsh reality of the difficulty in finding college teammates skilled in a particular area to help them find a company. As a result, they created DreamMate, to help college students find co-founders and hire teams that are skilled in a particular area they are not, such as Artificial Intelligence. They also have many friends who really want to join startups in university, so they added the option of joining a startup.

Q: Can you give us more insights into your offering?
A: Although we only have the waitlist out currently, we will release our minimum viable product within the next three weeks, and the product will be a fully free service for everyone to use. We are also going to keep on updating the product after the MVP is released, so don’t be shy to email us with feedback, as we will greatly appreciate it :D
Q: What can we expect from your company in the next 6 months? What are your plans?
A: Over the next six weeks, we look forward to updating our startup and business model in the best interest of what people want. That is why we are always excited to hear feedback from the people. We also want to expand our startup to have more functionalities for helping college students start or join startups at their universities.

Q: What is the best thing about your company that people might not know about?
A: The best thing about our company is that we are fully free, as we aim to help college students as best as possible without them having to worry about any expenses. There are not many companies that are trying to solve the problem we are fixing, and most companies that work on similar issues cost money. We (the founders) are college students, so we have experience with the money crisis many college students face around America, so that is why we made it free.
