Q: Who are the primary users of FSG Energy and what are some of the key challenges you are helping them solve?
A: Our Clarity™ ecosystem is optimized for national, multi-site clients such as convenience stores, small box retail stores, quick serve restaurants and banks. FSG Energy clients also include corporate and educational campuses, and we are constantly expanding our abilities to serve more markets.
Clarity™ helps our diverse customer base reduce energy, maintenance and operational costs without sacrificing the comfort or safety of the stores. Clarity™ encompasses everything needed to efficiently run and monitor a facility, including lighting, HVAC, cold storage, energy metering, air temperature, humidity and many more.

Q: What is unique about Clarity™ and how does it stand out from competition?
A: Clarity™ is unique because FSG Energy is one of the few companies who can bridge the gap between legacy systems and the newest IoT technologies. Because Clarity™ works with a large range of protocols and systems, there is no lock-in to a proprietary system for our customers.
Clarity™ is the only solution that is backed by FSG, which has one of the largest national footprints of employed installation technicians, support staff and design consultants. With our fully staffed 24/7 call center, we’re always available to dispatch a specialist anywhere in the country. FSG is one of the few companies that can provide the level of support we offer from the beginning to the end of life of a system.
Q: What have been some major milestones over the last 12 months?
A: Over the last year, FSG Energy has invested heavily in research and development that has allowed us to reduce the cost of our Clarity™ solution while adding innovative technologies. To augment our offerings, we’ve launched the “Works with Clarity™” Partner Program, an initiative that integrates the devices and systems of partner companies into the Clarity™ fold. Lastly, FSG Energy has added solar generation and energy storage to our portfolio, helping our customers further reduce their energy costs.
Q: What are your plans for keeping FSG Energy on the forefront of technology innovation?
A: We will always invest in new and emerging technologies to stay at the forefront of the cutting edge of innovation. Clarity™ is currently compatible with over 4,290 devices, 27 proprietary systems, 22 serial drivers and five wireless technologies. We will continually grow FSG Energy’s capabilities through our “Works with Clarity™” Partner Program as well as the ongoing efforts of our research and development teams.

Q: Who are FSG Energy’s main competitors?
A: There are many companies that offer parts of the solution, but none that own the customer experience from the beginning to the end quite like FSG. Instead, our goal is to continually grow our ecosystem so our customers can hand-select the best solution for their exact business needs.
