innermap Provides Simple Tools To Show People How They Can Live Mindfully In Their Everyday Life

innermap is a new and an innovative mindfulness coaching app that provides simple tools to show people how they can live mindfully in the thick of their everyday life. Below is our recent interview with Mitra Manesh, the Founder of innermap:

Q: innermap provides simple tools to show people how they can live mindfully; how do you do this?

A: We do this in the following ways, and we’re always evolving and changing as per our users’ requests:

STORIES: are designed to shift your heart, reset your mind, and help you take charge of your own story and narrative in life. They cover a range of everyday topics including Lying, Thoughts, Emotions, Parenting, Self-Care…even Death! These stories come from Mitra’s personal and professional experiences, global wisdom traditions, as well as from our users. We’ve recently added a new feature called “Your Stories” where our users from the global community can contribute their own mindful stories to the App, so that our storytellers feel heard, and story-listeners can be inspired.

SMART SOUNDS: are based on the science of Binaural Beats and created exclusively by nationally and internationally celebrated composers. Our “Smart Sounds” can help you achieve the state of mind you’re seeking while meditating or going through your daily work. From Love to Relaxation to Creation…and more. Smart Sounds are our version of sound healing where art and the science of frequency meet. We also have a “Smart Sounds” album designed to encourage mindfulness during daily chores (except when driving or operating heavy machinery).

MEDITATIONS: Even though we do not consider ourselves a meditation App, we do offer unique and practical guided meditations. Our Meditations are designed to fast-track you to contemplation, cultivation, imagination, and visualization. You can choose between guided and unguided in intervals from 5-60 minutes. Whether you’re new to meditation or you’ve been practicing for years, you’ll find our guided meditations are powerful and short-–or long–enough to effectively fit into your day.

PODCAST: our weekly Podcasts are short excerpts from classes Mitra teaches, or in-studio recordings. They are real questions and real answers about mindful living.

Q: Mitra, can you tell us something more about yourself? How did you get to where you are today?

A: I had an amazingly rich journey full of ups and downs. I was born in Iran, walked out after revolution and war started in 1980, lived in Europe, Australia, Canada, and the US. I lost my father in my teens, my country in my 20s, and my marriage in my 30s. I realized all outwardly “things” are out of my control, coming and going as they please; however, how I lead my “inner” feelings, emotions, and thoughts is all in my own hand. It’s been a rewarding life full of growth, and it continues to be so. I have a meaningful career which wakes me up with smile every day. I’m a caregiver to my 88-year-old mother who is legally blind. I am in a growing relationship with my life partner of 14 years, and a mother to my 2 adult children.

Q: What types of services do you offer to your clients?

A: I offer the following virtual and in-person services:

1. Mindful Executive Coaching & Corporate Training
2. Keynote and public speaking
3. Mindfulness-Based one-on-one Coaching for individuals, couples and families
4. Mindful Art experience creation for art institutions
5. Teaching applied Mindfulness–working and living–classes in collaboration with UCLA’s Semel Institute for Neuroscience and Human Behavior, Mindful Awareness Research Center.

Q: What are your plans for the future?

A: We plan to make innermap far more accessible to the global community through innovation, collaboration, and cooperation. We see innermap as a platform, not just an App, for all things mindful that can contribute to the awakening of our world.

We want to create a virtual world where artificial intelligence is at the service of humanity and humility. We see ourselves as servants, and innermap as a serving tool for our collective awakening.
