Q: Who are the primary users of Legitifi and what are some of the key challenges you are helping them solve?
A: Anyone meeting someone for the first time is a potential user. The most common problem we are solving is the ability to trust and verify people you meet online or in person for the first time. Whether it’s meeting an online dating match, purchasing something on an online marketplace, renting a property online, interviewing a potential new hire or hiring someone to care for a family member or pet you always want to ask them to first share their Legitifi profile with you.

Q: What’s the achievement Legitifi is most proud of?
A: We are extremely proud that we are providing a tool that anyone can use for free to verify new people they meet. We think everyone should have this ability and we believe that it should always be free. We are also extremely proud to mention that we have found a way to align our growth goals in a way that also allows us to give back. For every download of Legitifi, we make a contribution to a charitable cause. Currently, we are partnered with The Thirst Project to help end the clean water crisis. Every time someone downloads Legitifi and enters the promo code THIRST, we donate enough to provide clean water to 1 person for a year! We are thrilled that we can partner with causes like The Thirst Project and help make a difference in the lives of our users and people all over the world at the same time.
Q: What are your plans for the next 6 months?
A: First up, we will be attending TechCrunch Disrupt on Sept. 18th in San Francisco, CA where we will be showcasing Legitifi at their Startup Alley. We are very excited about socializing our platform with the startup community and look forward to attending this event. We also have a very exciting update coming in October for our users and their profiles that we think is going to be very fun and engaging, so stay tuned!

Q: How would you convince the reader to start using Legitifi?
A: I would say that once you actually use the app and see how easy and noninvasive it is to verify people with Legitifi the app really promotes itself. You shouldn’t have to just blindly trust people you meet in this age of technology, and you shouldn’t have to just share every single thing on your social media profiles to prove you are legit.
