Little Green Light (LGL) provides an affordable, intuitive set of donor management tools and customer support to nonprofits. LGL is a web-based donor management and constituent relationship management (CRM) solution. The all-in-one fundraising software offers secure, online access, requires no software installation, allows unlimited users with role-based access and doesn’t require long-term contracts. Below is our interview with Timi Paccioretti from Little Green Light:
Q: Timi, tell us something more about Little Green Light and your mission.
A: Little Green Light (LGL) empowers nonprofits to fundraise more efficiently and effectively by providing an affordable, intuitive set of donor management tools and exceptional customer support. LGL helps its customers fundraise more intelligently and enables better collaboration within the nonprofit organization. Because less time is required to manage an LGL database (as opposed to a complicated database), customers have more time to develop donor relationships and advance their organization’s mission.
Q: You’ve recently announced the addition of Stripe as a payment processing solution for LGL forms; tell us something more.
A: When LGL Forms was first introduced in September 2014, payment processing was available only through ProPay. With the addition of Stripe, credit card processing is now available for LGL customers both in the U.S. and Canada, as well as in several European countries, New Zealand, and Australia. It’s also great for our customers that Stripe has no fixed fees and that they offer discounts for nonprofits.
Q: Can you give us more insights into your software?
A: LGL, a web-based donor management and constituent relationship management (CRM) solution, equips nonprofits with the tools they need to efficiently manage their development operations. The all-in-one fundraising software offers secure, online access, requires no software installation, allows unlimited users with role-based access, doesn’t require long-term contracts, is integrated with best-of-breed products and services, and offers extensive documentation and support included with the subscription. For a full list of features, see this.
Q: What motivates customers to stay with the company?
A: The three primary reasons customers choose LGL and remain with the service year after year are: Ease of use, affordability, and exceptional customer support. Here are a few comments from current LGL customers:
“Little Green Light offered us a cart full of functions at a price we could afford, and it’s intuitive enough that all our employees and volunteers can find the information they need.” Every Child Fed Sterling, VA
“I love, love, love Little Green Light!! It has provided exactly what our organization needed for donor tracking and reporting. It’s simple yet dynamic, and provides all that a foundation our size needs. And support is beyond great. Thanks, LGL.” Hospice Foundation of Palm Beach County, Palm Beach, FL
“Little Green Light has helped us establish and strengthen donor relationships through its amazingly simple-to-use structure. LGL is a great data management tool for any nonprofit. We really love what it’s doing for us. LGL is seriously cool.” Mountain Park Environmental Center, Beulah, CO
Q: What are your plans for the next six months?
A: Although we’re not planning any major new features in the next six months, we do have plans to continue to improve the service we offer. We prioritize our technical projects on a monthly basis, largely based on customer input. Typically, we roll out about a dozen improvements to the service each month. This past month, we released two important updates: A new bulk gift editing tool and a field display widget. Upcoming releases include the improvement of LGL’s integration with Constant Contact, adding more functionality to Events, specifically making it easier for event organizers to generate labels and registration sheets, adding recurring task functionality, and incorporating a spell check widget to our internal mail editor.Activate Social Media:
