We caught up with Evan Rutchik, CEO at LocalFactor to learn more about the company and its plans:
Q: Could you provide our readers with a brief introduction to your company?
A: LocalFactor’s mission is to help brands and businesses maximize, scale, and create value from local audiences. We were fortunate enough to launch this business with the partnership and foresight of a major Fortune 200 company in the US and equally as important to us, a midsized Florida-based locally focused business. By having these diametrically different types of launch partners, we were able to find the common challenges they share, build our products and solutions to meet them where they need us most, and help them scale locally. Right now, we are a fearsome group of people working to build the business from the ground up. Lots of our clients are in the same growth mindset, so we can share in the success, the learnings, and grow together. As a team, we are working together within our core company values of Integrity, Grit, and Extreme Ownership. Working over Slack and Google Hangouts, we are able to effectively service our clients remotely across the country.
Q: Can you give us more insights into what makes your company unique?
A: There are a few ways to answer this, I will break it down to clients, people, and products:
1. Clients – we care about all clients and service their business with equal care, respect, and energy, regardless of their size. This is sadly unique. However, we are proud of it. I will personally get on the phone with each and every client, at any time, to walk through their challenges, even if it does not make us an extra penny and they are buying the service from another agency. I care about their business, and I know the more we work together, the bigger they will grow, and we will all benefit.
2. Personnel – We don’t promise employees the world and fail to deliver. Instead, we are focused on being transparent, inclusive, and honest with each other, our roles, and our aspirations. Also, each employee from C level to Internparticipates and is seen as critical to the success of our company, and not just if (and when) we become a unicorn or have an exit.
3. Products – our products are being built to ensure we are addressing the challenges of our clients, future proofing the data sets so we aren’t reliant on the whims of other companies, and transparently providing actionable insights and measurable performance related to our client’s business.

Q: What can we expect from your company in the next 6 months? What are your plans?
A: In the next 6 months, you can expect to hear a lot more from us. We’ll have new product launches, case studies, and new hires that we will likely announce in the marketplace.
Without giving away too much, we are weeks away from launching a new AI based product that helps advertisers and marketers of all different types and sizes build, understand, visualize, and activate their media based on local audiences and performance data. This level of sophistication and detail has not been available to all businesses before. It also hasn’t been a priority for the other players in the market, as it has historically been complicated and expensive to create. LocalFactor will change that.
We have seen time and time again, advertisers ignoring local audiences as a key factor for optimization. But, when it is considered, and with the right technology in place during our testing phases, we have seen some clients saving up to 20% of ad spend and generating significantly better performance for their brand or business.
Also, we will be accelerating our hiring for the business. If you are someone who believes in the value of local media and audiences, thinks that small businesses should have the same access to premium inventory and AI as big businesses, and want to work hard and be fairly compensated, please reach out. We will be looking for people in sales, customer service, operations, data science, and much more.
Q: What is the best thing about your company that people might not know about?
A: LocalFactor is new to the market, just about 3 months old at this point and already making an impact for major brands and very impressively run small businesses. In just a few months, we’ve already run double digit campaigns for clients across the continent. Our growth has been faster than I anticipated, which is leading to faster innovation, the need for more people to join the team and the privilege to be selective in who we work with.
If we work together, you will find that I am obsessed with building companies, my own and my clients’. We want to help you uncover actionable insights that lead to more strategic activation and improved business outcomes. I believe in a consultative approach, collaborating and guiding you through our services and solutions that fit your challenges, and never taking on business when I don’t believe we can truly make an impact.
I have been in the marketing and tech industry for 15+ years, worked with all different types of clients and stages of businesses, successfully built $100mm+ revenue companies from $0, and hired and managed several hundreds of people. All throughout my years, I have wanted to try my hand at being an entrepreneur in ad tech, and have been blessed with many opportunities to learn, be mentored, mentor, launch and scale companies and products, as well as work with amazing people and founders that have taught me so much.
Whether you work with us, read our content, watch our videos, follow our thought leadership, or see our work in market, you will see what I am talking about. We’re here to make an impact on your business and are looking forward to having the best thing no one knows about yet, be well known.
