Q: Could you provide our readers with a brief introduction to your company?
A: Thank you for the opportunity to share about AcDiTo! We’re a dynamic platform that brings together ride-hailing, payment solutions, and a marketplace to meet the diverse needs of African consumers. With AcDiTo, you can quickly and safely hail a ride, make payments with ease, and conveniently shop for goods. We’re your one-stop-shop for all your personal and commercial needs!
Q: You recently announced the launch of a program to help local councils in Cameroon establish an online presence; can you provide some highlights on that?
A: Yes. We’re excited to announce our latest fully-funded program to help local councils in Cameroon establish an online presence and boost their economies! In 2023, we plan to develop websites for 15 local councils with high economic potential. This will allow them to showcase their local economies to the world and attract potential investors, partners, entrepreneurs, and Cameroonians living abroad. We believe that every community deserves access to the tools and resources they need to succeed. Our program aims to equip local councils with the resources and skills necessary to deliver top-notch public services to their residents.
Q: How did you select the 15 local councils?
A: The selection of the 15 local councils for our program is based on a thorough evaluation of several key factors. We consider each council’s economic potential, existing market opportunities, investment opportunities, and the number of projects seeking local and foreign investments. Additionally, selected councils are required to hire two staff members from their local community to manage the website. This not only provides employment opportunities but also ensures that the website is managed by people who have a deep understanding of the local community.

Q: What are the key performance indicators for the program?
A: The success of our program is measured by several key performance indicators. These include the number of local councils that successfully establish an online presence, the number of local staff members hired and trained to manage the websites, the increase in investment and economic activity in the selected local councils, and the improvement in the delivery of public services to residents. By closely monitoring these indicators, we can ensure that our program is achieving its goals and making a positive impact on local communities.
Q: What can we expect from your company in next 6 months? What are your plans?
A: Over the next 6 months, our company will continue to focus on our Municipal Development Program as aligned with our corporate social responsibility program, which aims to create social impact and foster sustainable development in Cameroon and Africa. With 360 municipal councils in Cameroon responsible for managing local affairs, the effectiveness of municipal projects heavily depends on the availability of resources, effective communication with stakeholders, and easy access to quality and reliable information. Our program is aligned with our vision of empowering African consumers and communities with access to a variety of services in their cities. Through this program, we will develop portals that showcase the unique economic potential of each municipality, providing detailed and current information about their economies, key industries, major employers, investment opportunities, and other relevant data. The websites will also provide a closed-circuit communication channel between municipalities and stakeholders.

Q: What is the best thing about your company that people might not know about?
A: One thing that people might not know about our company is that we are an impact-oriented company. At AcDiTo, we are committed to creating long-lasting impact in all the communities in which we operate. Our global digital platform allows users to order a ride, pay a bill, and buy a service securely and conveniently. In the context of our Municipal Development Program, skilled supervisors will monitor, evaluate and adjust programs to align outcomes with expectations. Our community-minded goals must also satisfy for-profit, private-sector objectives. As an arm of closely held AcDiTo, the development program will retain a prominent focus on achieving solid investment returns for all stakeholders.
