Q: Could you provide our readers with a brief introduction to your company?
A: Action1 Corporation is a provider of cloud-based remote monitoring and management software. Our solution helps managed service providers and internal IT departments secure and support their remote workforce by streamlining remote IT management of their endpoints, most notably laptops and PCs. We are based in Houston, Texas. We’ve been around since 2018.
Q: Any highlights on your recent announcement?
A: We recently made major improvements to our remote monitoring and management platform that significantly extend our patch management capabilities. In particular, newly released updates enable IT teams to reduce certain IT risks that threaten organizations when their employees work from home. For example, the risks of Shadow IT and the risk of hackers compromising vulnerable drivers. Other features we’ve recently announced enable organizations to minimize business disruptions during patch deployment, thus ensuring business continuity.

Q: Can you give us more insights into your offering?
A: Action1 RMM is a cloud-based solution for remote monitoring and management that includes automated patch management, remote desktop, software deployment, IT asset inventory, network monitoring, and reporting. It is completely free for organizations with up to 50 endpoints without any limitations or hidden costs. That makes our product very popular among small organizations, especially non-profits, which often cannot afford expensive RMM software but remain a target for cybercriminals. We help these organizations achieve their goal of ensuring remote workforce security without investing a fortune into technologies.
Plus, many enterprises use Action1 RMM to ensure proper software patch management and provide their remote workers with office-quality IT support. In particular, the platform’s broad set of customizable patch management features, such as the ability to schedule updates overnight based on the local time, are in high demand among globally distributed organizations.
Last but not least, Action1 RMM is popular among MSPs since it enables them to grow their business. It is scalable, easy to deploy and use, and customizable. With Action1 RMM, MSPs can manage dozens of customers from one console and grant different permissions to admin roles within each managed organization. Such functionality saves them time and helps maintain security.
Q: What can we expect from your company in the next 6 months? What are your plans?
A: Action1 Corporation operates worldwide, but most of our customers so far are based in North America. We plan to continue our expansion in Europe and the Asia-Pacific region. For that, we will continue to innovate and invest in R&D. We also plan to continue expanding our team. And of course, we will further improve our product based on feedback from our customers and market analysis. We have some big product announcements in the pipeline for the coming six months.

A: We are a private company founded by cybersecurity industry veterans who are known in the sector for building Netwrix, a successful technology company with an award-winning data security platform. My co-founder Mike Walters and I both have more than 20 years of experience in technology and IT business, which we have incorporated into Action1 RMM. One of the major things that we have learned based on our considerable experience as entrepreneurs is that people are the key asset of any business. Accordingly, we have always made it a top priority to recruit and retain the best talent at Action1 Corporation. We are lucky to work with talented professionals with diverse backgrounds dedicated to contributing their expertise and ideas to providing our clients with the best possible product and services.
