Q: Could you provide our readers with a brief introduction to your company?
A: Atom Finance is a one-stop shop for modern investment data and information. We are where traders discover their next investment idea. The Atom platform for individual investors launched in 2019 on both mobile and as a desktop application to arm retail investors with sophisticated, easy-to-use investment research and portfolio monitoring tools. Atom’s mission is to level the playing field and democratize access to high-quality investment information, company data, and financial markets which traditionally are only available through expensive enterprise solutions like S&P’s Capital IQ and The Bloomberg Terminal. Those legacy products can run individuals upwards of $24,000 per year. Atom also wants to make it simple enough to digest effortlessly and impactful enough to invest smartly.
Atom is not a brokerage, so you cannot transact through Atom’s application, but you can link your various accounts to monitor and evaluate your aggregated portfolio. Atom’s consumer user base spans novice investors, all the way up to professionals at hedge funds and venture capital firms.

Q: Any highlights on your recent announcement?
A: In 2021, we realized that we could carry our mission further by packaging our products and offering them to businesses as embedded modules inside their own investment experiences. Our first strategic enterprise partnership came through Inter, a Brazilian multi-service digital platform where we equipped their brokerage customers with a suite of advanced research tools and institutional-quality market insights for the Brazil equities market. And just this week, we were thrilled to expand the partnership to now include the US equities market into their brokerage business, following Inter’s decision to move their own primary listing to the Nasdaq exchange. It’s a big win for Atom, but more importantly for investors all across Brazil.
Q: Can you give us more insights into your offering?
A: Our consumer app places everything you need to make smart investment decisions in the palm of your hand. Users can try it free for a week. After that, the subscription is only $6.99 per month. Things like researching companies, screening and monitoring investments, uncovering new investment ideas, accessing investor documents, and analyzing your portfolio are examples of what users come to us for. Atom also offers real-time stock quotes, and premium company breaking news that you can customize with alerts. Users give us a lot of love for our Fund Look Through tool, which allows investors to further unpack the holdings in their connected portfolios all the way down to the stock security level. The Atom consumer application also brings a community of traders together to chat about investment ideas and breaking financial news in discussion boards.
We’re also committed to helping businesses around the globe such as banks, fintechs, and neobanks bolster their user experiences with innovative investment research, tools, data, and content. The recent Inter partnership is an example of that.
Q: What can we expect from your company in next 6 months? What are your plans?
A: We are investing in both expanding our enterprise relationships as well as innovating our mobile app and desktop application. We’re in the process of revamping our charting tool to allow for more customization and data for all types of traders, and we’ll be adding OTC, Canadian equity, and other asset class data into our software platform in the coming months.
Q: What is the best thing about your company that people might not know about?
A: Atom is built by investment professionals with experience in the industry. We love to invest and we love to code. We are driven by our obsession with leveling the playing field for all investors by empowering them with access to actionable, institutional-quality financial data to make smart investment decisions that were once only available to Wall Street professionals.
Our founder and CEO, Eric Shoykhet, was a former Blackstone investor and also worked for hedge fund Governors Lane prior to founding Atom.
