Below is our recent interview with Barbora Pridalova, Employer Branding Specialist at CloudTalk:

Q: Could you provide our readers with a brief introduction to your company?

A: When we started out in 2018, we were just a handful of people obsessed with new cloud technology. Today, we are a team of 180+ people, serving 2,500+ customers from over 80 countries. CloudTalk has quickly evolved from an embeddable click-to-call widget into an all-in-one, modern cloud communication software.

Spurred by a growing demand for cloud-based, remote-ready communication software and a growing acceptance of remote-working models, we have disrupted the $50bn stagnant telephony market.

Despite the rapid growth, our philosophy has remained relatively simple: offer our customers easy integrability, automation, top-class call quality, and advanced features that will save them an average of 2-3 minutes on every phone call.

Q: Any highlights on your recent announcement?

A: We are extremely happy to have been recognized as the 15th fastest-growing product in the world on G2’s top-100 list. And we are double happy, because it’s the second time in a row that we’ve made the list. This underlines CloudTalk’s huge growth and positive outlook for the future.

Q: Can you give us more insights into your offering?

A: CloudTalk is a cloud calling software for scaling companies. We typically serve mid-market clients and have helped companies like Revolut, Glovo and Glamira achieve their global growth ambitions.

We are particularly proud of the integrations we provide. We know how important it is for customers to be able to connect CloudTalk to the tools they love. We offer a wide range of integrations and the list is only growing.

One great advantage for our customers is that they can stay connected to their clients wherever they choose to go. With CloudTalk, you’re able to make and receive calls from your desktop browser or using our mobile apps, no matter where you are. We’ve also remade our CloudTalk Go application from the ground up, implementing some major improvements. Our customers can now expect higher performance, more powerful features, and an updated interface that offers an even better, friendlier user experience.

Q: What can we expect from your company in the next 6 months? What are your plans?

A: We are scaling our team, from 200 employees to about 250 to 280 people. There’s definitely a big challenge on the horizon, though, as it’s becoming more and more difficult for startups to secure funding in the current financial climate. Still, we are staying focused and putting a lot of effort into improving customer happiness as we’ve identified it as a key driver of growth in the upcoming months.

Q: What is the best thing about your company that people might not know about?

A: At CloudTalk, you are surrounded by people who love working with others. We’re curious problem solvers, up for any kind of challenge. You will get more out of working here for two years than you would get out of working at any other company for 5 years — easily. We embrace change and actively look for opportunities to grow our product, company, and ourselves – as individuals, professionals, and a team.

The human touch, so to speak, is something we take very seriously. We embrace diversity and aim to respect everyone on the team as an individual.
