Meet VenueOps – Online Booking And Venue Management Application For Arenas, And Stadiums

Listen to this article

EventBooking is the Software as a Service (SaaS) company behind VenueOps, an online booking and venue management application for arenas, stadiums, convention centers, performing arts centers, and more. Here is our interview with Kalyn Sisco, Marketing Manager at EventBooking:

Q: Can you tell us something more about EventBooking?

A:EventBooking takes pride in its clients, who oversee the many moving parts that make a large-scale event possible. EventBooking retains a 99% customer satisfaction rating, based on regular polls of their client base, which extends across 24 countries and over 1,000 venues.

Ungerboeck, the other company participating in the business merge, provides industry-leading event and venue management software to over 50,000 users in over 50 countries around the world, empowering the people that bring people together. Their comprehensive platform offers event professionals leading-edge Software as a Service (SaaS) technology that provides a 360 view of their business, allowing them to cut costs, save time, and increase revenue. Founded in 1985, Ungerboeck is headquartered in the United States, with regional presence in Germany, France, Mexico, England, Australia, China, Hong Kong, and Singapore.

Q: Any highlights on your recent announcement?

A: Yes! The main highlight is that while there has always been a mutual respect between our two companies, we were previously competitors. Now, rather than have two teams developing competing offerings, this merge enables us to have one team and one shared roadmap with a focus on maximizing client value and expediting new innovation. By joining forces, we’ll be able to sharpen each other and provide even greater value for venue professionals worldwide.

Q: Can you give us more insights into your offering?

A: Together we want to create new possibilities, and this merger will provide a burst of innovation and energy to the venue and event industry overall. Large enterprise customers will see big benefits through future innovations and product lines. Smaller customers will find the power of an ERP provider in a package that’s personalized to best suit their needs. Customers of each company can keep using the same solutions and services without interruption, followed by a seamless transition to the next generation of offerings.

Q: What can we expect from your company in next 6 months? What are your plans?

A: In the future you can expect to see additional innovations that will bring value to event facilities of all sizes, although it is worth mentioning that both products (VenueOps & Ungerboeck products) will still very much continue be sold and supported, and will continue to be developed. Nothing is changing in this respect, as both products have their place in the market.

Each business is a “people first” company in that we have a shared focus on making them an enjoyable place to call home for staff. After all, a happy employee translates to better, more genuine service to our clients! Both EventBooking and Ungerboeck have won multiple awards for their workplace cultures.
