Below is our recent interview with Andrus Purde, CEO and Co-Founder of Outfunnel:
Q: This is the first time we have spoken. Can you provide a brief overview of Outfunnel?
A: There are a lot of great sales tools and many awesome marketing tools, but SMBs still struggle to unite sales and marketing data and workflows. This means that everyone misses opportunities (as well as revenue goals):
Marketers waste time on data management & reporting, and miss out on actual deal & revenue impact of their campaigns due to lack of feedback loops.
Salespeople have no context for sales conversations and don’t know which leads are ready to buy.
C-suite has no “big picture” visibility into the effectiveness of campaigns.
Last but not least: all of us receive lots of ‘spam’ instead of relevant messages.

Q: Can you give us more insights into your services?
A: With Outfunnel, you can put revenue marketing into action. Start with sending automated revenue-generating email campaigns to lists defined in your CRM. As email engagement, web visits and lead scores are synced to your CRM, sales can prioritize the hottest leads and close more deals. Finally, track which campaigns and channels drive new deals and actual revenue.
All of that, without the expensive price tag. Outfunnel’s pricing starts at mere $19 per month.
Q: Who would be your ideal user and why?
A: Outfunnel is ideal for small / medium-sized businesses that need both sales and marketing and where sales cycles are longer, not transactional. That’s roughly 25% of all SMBs according to our estimations. Some specific examples include professional services, consulting, real estate, healthcare.
Because most of our customers are small and medium businesses you probably haven’t heard of them (eg. Caddle, Modea, LearningStone). Businesses that are strong in their niche and region, but who are not usually featured in global/tech media. That said, we have some better-known scale-ups as customers eg. Bolt.

Q: What are your plans and goals for the future?
A: Our goal is to make revenue marketing mainstream in the world of B2B. It’s really a “win-win-win” for everyone involved. When done well, revenue marketing automation ensures that sales knows which prospects are sales-ready, that marketing learns which campaigns, channels and messages deliver revenue in addition to clicks or leads, and last (but definitely not least), the customer always receives the most relevant communication. This allows them to move faster through the funnel or speed up their decision to abandon.
The plan is to keep developing our product to help B2B marketers practice revenue marketing. Every time our customers win from using Outfunnel, we move an inch closer towards our goal.
