Below is our recent interview with Jason Anderson, president of Venture X:
Q: Could you provide our readers with a brief introduction to Venture X?
A: Venture X is a shared workspace and community that is a blend of boutique hotel and modern office styles with a high level of design that feels professional and welcoming. It’s our mission to help people succeed and enjoy a fulfilling and rich life in doing what they love. Our vision is to open a Venture X in every major city globally where members can connect, be inspired, improve their business/career, and experience fulfilling rich lives.
Q: Could you tell us something more about the plans you’re offering?
A: Venture X offers a number of flexible month-to-month agreements ranging from a community plan, a shared desk plan, a dedicated desk plan, a private office plan, and a virtual office plan. The Community plan is the perfect membership plan if you do not need office space every day yet want access to the membership community to enjoy all of Venture X’s community benefits. It includes one-day access to the common areas and conference rooms. The Shared Desk plan allows you to choose any open seat in the common area, a mailing address, and two conference room hours per month. The Dedicated Desk plan includes a dedicated desk, filing cabinet, and ergonomic chair with unlimited 24/7 access, a mailing address, and three conference room hours per month. The Private Office plan gives members 24/7 access to a personal office for individual members or, for up to large 10-member teams, a mailing address and five conference room hours per month. The Virtual Office plan includes a professional business address with mail and package handling. This plan works well if you need a professional business mailing address to share with your clients.

Q: Why are co-working spaces good for emerging businesses and growing your brand?
A: Coworking spaces have emerged as the new normal for corporations and entrepreneurs in today’s ever-changing world. The Bureau of Labor Statistics estimates that 40 percent of the workforce will need workspaces outside of the home by the year 2020. Venture X provides an ideal option for those working from a home office who desire a more professional environment, and allows businesses to optimize their real estate needs. Venture X amenities include a centralized café and lounge area, concierge level member services, secure 24/7 access, high-speed internet, business class copiers/scanners/printers, and meeting rooms that are fully equipped with the latest presentation and conference technology.

Q: What are your plans for the future?
A: The Venture X brand is entering 2019 with an aggressive agenda for continued expansion. In this first quarter of 2019, we are anticipating the opening of eight Venture X locations in six states. These include: Campbell Center-Dallas, TX; Orlando and Doral in Florida; Farmington, UT; Richmond, VA; Marlborough, MA; and Indianapolis, IN. During the remainder of the year, plans call for three additional new shared office spaces to be built in Texas – Frisco-Stonebrook, Houston, and One McKinney-Dallas, as well as others in Ann Arbor, MI and Pleasanton, CA.
We are also in the process of negotiating deals internationally, with options in London, Singapore, Australia, South Africa, Mexico, Brazil, Panama, and Dubai, as well as other countries in the Middle East. The goal is to have 100 locations open by the end of 2019.
