Below is our recent interview with Arun Upadhyay, CEO at Wirelo:
Q: Arun, you recently launched Wirelo, a B2B marketplace tailored specifically for the wireless industry. What gap in the market did you see that inspired you to build Wirelo, and how is your platform uniquely equipped to address it?
A: I’ve been in the wireless industry for almost 17 years, and one challenge I’ve consistently seen is that when someone starts a wireless retail business, they often don’t know where to buy products, which vendors are trustworthy, or who offers the best pricing. There’s never been a single place where retailers can find all of this information easily, even though there are more than 25,000 wireless retail stores in the U.S.
On the vendor side, many have been looking for an “Amazon-like” platform where they can list their products, reach retailers directly, and grow their business. That’s where the idea for Wirelo came from. I wanted to build a platform where retailers and vendors can connect directly and efficiently.
Wirelo removes middlemen, lets vendors set their own prices, and gives retailers full visibility into vendor pricing and market pricing. We offer free shipping on orders over $299 per vendor, and both retailers and vendors can view each other on the platform.
We also handle payment collection, dealer credit, and net terms so vendors don’t have to worry about chasing payments, letting them focus on their products. Retailers love this model, and many are already placing holiday orders on Wirelo. Plus, our support team is available 24/7.
Q: Since its launch, what early traction has Wirelo seen — in terms of dealer or vendor onboarding — and what metrics are you tracking to define success in your first year?
A: At launch, Wirelo onboarded more than 50 registered dealers, and our vendor network continues to grow across key product categories such as wireless accessories, charging solutions, wearables, and protection gear.
One of the most important metrics for us is feedback. The response from both dealers and vendors has been very positive. They’ve told us the platform is easy to use, offers competitive pricing, and makes it simple to find everything they need in one place. We take partner feedback seriously, and that’s why we recently introduced the Order Basket feature, allowing users to save products they’re interested in, similar to a wishlist.

Q: Wirelo recently announced that The Boon of Wireless — a well-respected podcast and media brand — is joining your platform. What motivated that acquisition, and how do you see it aligning with Wirelo’s mission?
A: Wirelo’s mission is to connect the wireless ecosystem and drive innovation, and bringing The Boon of Wireless onto our platform strengthens that goal. The podcast delivers real industry insight, expert conversations, and thought leadership — exactly the kind of knowledge our dealers and vendors value.
Jon Horovitz is excited to join forces with Wirelo, and together we’ll expand the show’s reach while giving our community a richer experience. A strong marketplace isn’t just about buying and selling; it’s also about education, trends, and staying informed. By integrating The Boon of Wireless, we’re amplifying those conversations and building a smarter, more connected wireless community.
Q: How will the integration of The Boon of Wireless into Wirelo benefit your users — both retailers and vendors on a practical level?
A: For retailers, this integration brings more industry insight. For vendors, it creates new visibility and exposure.
Practically, Wirelo users will now get easy access to expert interviews, trend analysis, and wireless industry insights right inside the platform. Retailers can use this content to make smarter buying decisions, while vendors can showcase their products and innovations through podcast features. Embedding The Boon of Wireless content into Wirelo helps everyone stay informed and better connected.
Q: Wirelo has launched an exclusive relationship with Nexera ONE, a fully integrated screen protection system. What makes Nexera ONE transformational for wireless retail, and why did Wirelo choose to make it exclusive?
A: Nexera ONE is transformational because it combines precision cutting, automated installation, and an easy-to-use app, helping retailers deliver flawless screen protection while saving time and reducing training needs. It drives efficiency and creates a strong new revenue stream for stores.
We made it exclusive to Wirelo because it aligns with our mission to offer innovative, high-value solutions. Exclusivity ensures quality and gives our dealers access to technology they can’t get anywhere else, helping them stand out in a competitive market.
