Q: Could you provide our readers with a brief introduction to your company?
A: Any company, with less than 25 employees or 500000 plus employees, will have plenty of software tools to carry on with the day-to-day tasks. When the procurement method shifted from on-premise to SaaS, anyone in an organization could sign up for such tools and use them. Though SaaS has made our lives easy, it also brings many challenges like overspending, app redundancy, security threats, and much more.
Zluri is a SaaS management platform that helps you manage your company’s SaaS stack by tracking app usage and spend, automating IT tasks, and reducing security & compliance risks. It’s got a user-friendly dashboard that provides all the information you need to keep track of your organization’s SaaS stack. It gives you detailed information on the SaaS apps being used, who uses them, how often they’re used, how much is spent on them, if they are compliant with SOC-2, GDPR, HIPAA, etc. and whether they’re approved. Q: Any highlights on your recent announcement?
A: Recently Zluri was selected as 2021 TiE50 Winner in the prestigious TiE50 Awards Program. Zluri was recognized and awarded for the pioneering technology that we have built in the software subscription management space. Today, we have the world’s most powerful software discovery engine that powers all other functionalities in the SaaS management platform. Having been selected from a pool of 1000’s of top notch tech companies, It is a great honor for Zluri to be awarded as one of the Tie50 winners, motivating us to propel forward.
Q: Can you give us more insights into your offering?
A: Zluri has an app discovery engine that takes input from your SSO provider like Okta, spend management apps like Quickbooks & Xero, desktop and browser agent, and a vast library of direct app integration and surfaces your SaaS landscape with near 100% accuracy. The whole process takes less than 5 minutes.
If there are any redundant apps present, Zluri notifies you immediately. It helps you optimize your SaaS spend by eliminating SaaS wastage due to duplicate, unused, and abandoned apps, wrong tier licenses, and alerting you whenever it finds such wastages. With a 30% – 40% saving on your SaaS expenditure, it more than pays for its cost.
Zluri also helps you manage SaaS vendors by giving timely alerts on renewals and negotiating a fair price based on your app usage. By helping you manage your auto-renewal, you can also avoid SaaS vendor lock-ins.
Q: What can we expect from your company in the next six months? What are your plans?
A: We’ve got quite a lot of plans. Today, we have the largest number of direct integrations compared to anyone else in the market. We’ll be doubling down on this further to expand value that our customers can derive from the platform. Also, we’ll be launching a self-serve version of the platform to fast-track customer onboarding. Also, we’ll be bringing some exciting features in the months to come and provide constant value to Zluri’s users and make SaaS management a breeze.
Q: What is the best thing about your company that people might not know about?
A: Zluri’s co-founders, including Sethu, Chaithanya, and I, have already worked together as founding team members in another learning technology company for over 9 years. Like every other company, we were also trying to explore ways to cut costs during the pandemic. When we looked at what was taking away most of the money, surprisingly, the answer was software. That’s when Chaithanya, who was leading the technology initiatives, quickly wrote a few scripts to find out what’s happening.
That’s when we found that we had nearly four times more applications than we thought and 40% of the licenses that we procured were unutilized or underutilized. When we spoke to our folks from other organizations, they also had the same problem. That’s when the idea of Zluri struck us.
