A: EvolveMKD is an established public relations and digital marketing agency in New York. Our services encompass PR, research and analytics, influencer work, digital media, and social media. We are a tight-knit team of storytellers, brand builders and caretakers, data crunchers, media hounds, digital strategists, and collaborators. Giving back to the community is an important part of our culture at EvolveMKD. We donate 10% of our annual profits to causes that support women and children and make ongoing financial donations to like-minded organizations nationwide based on timely needs.

Q: Who is your ideal client and why?
A: Our ideal clients have three common attributes: 1) the service/technology/product/company delivers on what it says it’s going to do and is safe, 2) the budget matches the ask, and 3) the clients will treat us like partners and are looking for a long-term agency relationship. I always say that our clients are people that I would want to talk to on a weekend, because in our business, you will definitely end up speaking on the weekends at some point.
Q: Can you give us more insights into your services?
A: We operate as an extension of our clients’ Marketing, PR and brand teams, getting to know their products or services, their work, and their target audience. We make every decision with a client’s best interest at heart. EvolveMKD offers PR services, digital and social media marketing, influencer relationship management, brand strategy, and campaign measurement. Over the last two years, we’ve also built out our research and analytics capabilities and developed a proprietary measurement system, so that every decision made can be backed by concrete data. As an agency, we keep our finger on the pulse of current trends and events so that our clients can creatively and effectively communicate with their target market. We zero in on the smallest details that could affect our brands. We also take a step back to see the bigger picture and recognize what we need to do to get things done.
Q: What can we expect from EvolveMKD in next 6 months? What are your plans?
A: We recently launched our first research study, “The Evolution of Communication” to learn more about the communication styles of women and men and better understand the effects communication has on mental health. We found that 7 in 10 Americans agree mental health is directly tied to communication, but women’s communication may actually be hurting their mental health. As communication experts, we have a responsibility to spread awareness around mental health and help our clients communicate with empathy and positivity towards their consumers. In the next 6 months we will work to incorporate this knowledge into all of our internal and external initiatives, and help current and prospective clients adjust their campaign activations to take advantage of the shift in communications.
Additionally, EvolveMKD believes in giving back and donates 10% of our annual profits to various charities and foundations. Most recently, we have donated to organizations that instill mental reliance and disrupt mental health stigmas like Positively Caviar, the Black Mental Health Alliance, and Love Land Therapy Fund to name a few. In the next six months you will see EvolveMKD continue to support causes that support mental wellbeing.

Q: What is the best thing about EvolveMKD that people might not know about?
A: I think we are a place where there is no need for a “work persona” and a “personal life persona”. You can really show up as you are here, and be appreciated and rewarded for your hard work. I think diversity and differing perspectives make our client work richer and better for all involved.
