Below is our recent interview with Saumya Agrawal, Senior Marketing Manger at Gnowbe:

Q: Could you provide our readers with a brief introduction to Gnowbe?

Q: I read something about your partnership with Temasek Polytechnic, how did that start and where do you see the relationship going?

A: Temasek Polytechnic (TP) had the vision of meeting the skills-upgrading demands of busy, working professionals and scaling accredited and high quality content to people from their mobile phones. By leveraging on our platform, Temasek Polytechnic was able to achieve this goal. They became the first educational institute to pioneer the mobile micro-learning movement and rolled out the world’s 1st and largest library of accredited mobile micro-learning courses. With over 60 micro-learning courses which are endorsed by Singapore’s Ministry of Education (MOE) and SkillsFuture (a government funding program for singaporeans) professionals will now have access to high quality programs on-the-go.

Our close partnership has inspired forward looking and passionate TP lecturers to roll out the next batch of Micro-Learning Courses scheduled to launched in 2019.

Q: What is a Micro-Learning Course?

A: A Micro-Learning Course is a self-paced digital course aimed at helping busy professionals upskill and develop in industry specific skills. Professionals can expect to access similar content and learning experiences offered by world renowned programs valued at > $1000 for a fraction of the cost.

The course is delivered in bite-sized sessions (no more than 10-15 mins) on a mobile app and is highly interactive, leading learners to think, reflect, practice and share their learnings in a global peer learning community. Upon completion, learners will earn a digital certificate by the institute which they can display on their Linkedin profile and CV.

Q: How are you different from other e-learning tools?
