MobileWash Car Wash App Brings Detailer To Your Home, Work Or Anywhere You Have Parking Spot

Below is our recent interview with Al Davi, CEO of MobileWash:

Q: What exactly does MobileWash do?

A: We bring the car wash to you. At home, at work, or anywhere you have a designated parking spot, you can use the app to order a car wash and get a detailer to your door in minutes. You can schedule the wash for now or later. And you can go with one of the three standard service packages or add-on extras like wax or clay bar treatment. Our service frees you up so you can spend your time relaxing or handling more important things.

Q: When did you start this business and why?

A: The idea was formed in 2015 and we began development immediately after. In the early stages of development, lots of people tried to tell me that this business idea wouldn’t work, because the complexity of the app features were too much. But I wanted to make use of all my knowledge about the auto industry and also keep the needs of detailers in mind. The app was released in June of 2017 and we’ve been thriving ever since.

Q: What makes you different from your competitors?

A: Several things. First of all, we actually care about the quality of our service. We care about our customers and want MobileWash to be a fantastic experience for them. We try to achieve absolute excellence in everything we do. Second, we use a proprietary dynamic pricing system which accounts for almost every make and model of car ever made! This ensures the fairest rates and enables us to provide accurate price quotes to customers. Another important thing which sets us apart is the fact that our washers use treated water which helps protect your car against water spots and other contaminants. Some of our competitors don’t use water at all if you can believe that. Also, did I mention we have the lowest prices? We offer bundle discounts and other promotions which help make us the most affordable service in the industry.

Q: What is your annual growth as a company?

A: Over the past two years our company has been growing at a rate of 300% annually. This is largely due to our aggressive marketing campaigns, which have brought on new professional washers along with a considerable amount of new customers each month.

Q: What areas does your business service?

A: We operate in over 300 cities which include most of Southern California.

Q: What does the future of the company look like for you?

A: More detailers are coming to us and asking about joining MobileWash. We’re planning to expand into 4 more states by the end of the year. Those being: Nevada, Arizona, Texas, and Florida. In order for supply to equal the increasing demand, we are partnering with more professional auto detailers. Especially in the new territories. We’ve been doing a lot of advertising both online and offline, through traditional mediums like billboards but also on social media platforms like Facebook and Instagram, to name a few. Our main goal is to keep growing until we are a household name, and we are on track to achieve that. Soon we’ll be rolling out MobileWash Office and MobileWash Premiere. Two new kinds of auto detailing programs, each with different benefits and price points. There’s much more coming soon but I’m not at liberty to reveal too much right now.

Q: What is a MobileWash quality detailer to you? What does it take to become a MobileWash Washer?

A: #1 requirement is they must be a professional detailer with all the proper equipment. # 2 They must pass a background check. # 3 They must be insured or bonded. # 4 They must have a registered DBA (doing business as). #5 They must pass our vetting process. They also must share the core values of MobileWash, which means they dress in MobileWash attire, have branded MobileWash vehicles, they communicate respectfully with clients, and maintain a 5-star rating status. Before partnering with new detailers we pre-screen them so that we can find the best of the best. We don’t just take anyone off the street and train them to be a detailer. We only work with experienced professionals.

Q: How many customers rely on your app?

A: We’re in our second year of business and already have thousands of weekly users. We have a heat map which shows geographical areas with the most MobileWash activity. Week after week the numbers are getting higher and they keep climbing as we expand into new areas.
