Q: Can you walk us through your process? How does it work?
A: When you apply for an RV loan or boat loan with My Financing USA, we first treat your application as a pre-qualification screening to avoid unnecessary credit inquiries. If we cannot pre-qualify you for any of our partner programs, we let you know why before you have any inquiries on your credit. This is especially helpful if you are trying to improve your credit score but are also curious to know if you might qualify. If you do meet the minimum requirements to qualify, we send your application to the program where you would receive the best rate and term based on your pre-qualification. If our first choice does not approve the application, we then send you to the second choice. This again reduces inquiries because you will only receive 1 inquiry if the first program approves your loan application. All in all, you will see 0 to 3 inquiries on your credit depending on which programs we match you with. Once you are approved for your RV loan or boat loan, you can upload your proof of income and the information for the unit you are purchasing on our secure website. Usually, we can then send you an email to sign your documents for the loan via DocuSign right on your smartphone. Due to high demand currently because of the pandemic, it can take about 3 to 5 days to receive your funds after you sign. Pre-pandemic, this was 1-3 days. We hope to get back to this figure soon.

Q: What are the company’s plans and goals for the future?
A: In the next 12 months we are working on some exciting developments. We will be moving to 100% DocuSign. We are going to offer certain programs with “instant” RV loan or boat loan approval capability. We plan to get our funding process to the same day. Finally, we plan to roll out a free classifieds site for previous customers seeking to sell or rent out their RV or boat.
